Because many students at the Verne school like to write, Pat, the librarian turtle, takes the kids on a trip back in time to meet Princess Enheduanna, the first female writer in history. Since she feels quite alone in her work, Sebas and Daniela introduce her to other woman authors who followed in her footsteps, including Sappho, Sei Shonagon, and Jane Austen. Information on the authors and suggested activities are included.
