About the Author

Tamara Leigh holds a Master's Degree in Speech and Language Pathology. In 1993, she signed a 4-book contract with Bantam Books and began writing full time. Her first medieval romance, Warrior Bride, was released in 1994 and nominated for a RITA award. Continuing to write for the general market, she was published with HarperCollins and earned awards and spots on national bestseller lists.

In 2006, Tamara's first inspirational contemporary romance, Stealing Adda, was received with critical acclaim. In 2008, Perfecting Kate was optioned for a movie and Splitting Harriet won an ACFW Book of the Year award.

In 2012, Tamara returned to the historical romance genre with the release of Dreamspell: A Medieval Time Travel Romance, followed by the Age of Faith series, which will include the seventh book, The Awakening, in winter 2017/18. Baron Of Blackwood, the third book in the #1 bestselling The Feud series, is now available. Among Tamara's #1 Bestsellers are her general market romances rewritten as Clean Reads, among them: Lady at Arms, Lady Of Eve, and Lady Of Conquest. The final rewrite, Lady Betrayed, released August 2017.

When not in the middle of being a wife and mother, Tamara dips her writer's pen in ink and nose in a good book. She lives near Nashville with her husband, a Doberman who bares his teeth not only to threaten the UPS man but to smile, a German Shepherd who has never met a squeaky toy she can't destroy, and a feisty Morkie who keeps her company during long writing stints.

I bought this book for my nook because I owned the original version titled Virgin Bride. I wasn't sure what 'CLEAN' rewrite meant. I soon found out it means they took out all the good parts and added a lot of praying and sinning. It just didn't read right. SIGH****

This book was PERFECT!!!! Tamara Leigh has a unique writing gift that transcends the mass marketing concept for romance. I don't need all the graphic details - - I think we all need more "romance" - - and Tamara Leigh knows how to write ROMANCE. She's not only talented in bringing romance back to life - but she knows her medieval history - her character development is deep and each is brought to life - - you feel the despair, the anger, the desperation, as well as the joy, the longing and the love. If you want a truly wonderful reading experience - read this book - - I promise it will NOT disappoint!!!!

“Lady of Eve” exceeded all my expectations! This novel was so good and will definitely not be my last by Tamara Leigh! I admit that it was a little bit awkward at first when there was a switch in characters POV. Before I got used to Tamara’s writing style, I was quite surprised at a switch to happen in between paragraph’s of the other character’s POV (it started off by switching between characters with each chapter, but this gradually changed). Despite what I mentioned above, I still say with conviction that I loved this book! The romance was perfect and I really liked both characters. I found a theme of forgiveness that really resonated in my heart and made me question if I forgiven certain family members of past wrongs. Overall, this is a must read! I can’t wait to read more in this series and just more books by this author in general! 5 out of 5 stars for sure! *(I was not required to review this novel. All thoughts expressed are my own.)*
