About the Author

Penny Haavig grew up in New York but currently resides in Minnesota, where she enjoys spending time with her husband, Tom. Penny's heritage goes back to the vaudeville stage. She directed several local children's theater performances. While living in upstate New York, she had a small part as an extra in the movie, The Way we Were. She volunteers at Love, Inc., an organization that helps people with emotional and physical needs. Penny loves horses, and still rides two to three times a week.
