Nice counting book. Nothing really stood out to me as outstanding. The young children enjoy the silly goats and finding them all in the pictures.
Mem Fox delivers, every time. Lovely bright illustrations (by Jan Thomas - so perfect for this type of book), bouncy rhyme, just perfect for reading aloud. And it lends itself so well to inviting children to examine the pictures further: "Here we see an airport goat looking for her cases. But can we count the pilot goats with goggles on their faces?" Kids will love this, bound to be a sure fire winner at Storytimes sessions.
