I have read just about every 'how to ride' book there is, including watching the "Ride Like a Pro" videos - Let's Ride is about the best one. He writes 'to a rider, from a rider', without all the textbook clichés and over-quoted general rules. Of course, Barer is speaking to the cruiser/tourer rider, and makes no apologies for skipping off-road, antique and race bike enthusiasts. For those looking for an apology or history of his years in the Hells Angels, you'll have to look elsewhere - this book is about learning to ride. What to ride, how to ride, the works. Barger has done a great job!

I was pleasantly suprised with this book. I have been riding for a long time and still learned a few things. I am also impressed with Barger's comments and knowledge about all bikes - not just american v-twins. I would say this is a worth while and enjoyable read for all riders from the new to most experiences. Well done Sonny.

I would of not purchased if I would of known it was a Harley bashing book. It is also for Beginners.

This book was a pleasant surprise, tons of useful practical information whether you've been in the saddle 2 years or 25.

If you love motorcycles and motorcycling, you'll enjoy parts of this book by default. But it's really nothing special by any means. Save your money and spend time on your bike instead.
