This is a beautiful story written by a very talented author. I normally don't leave reviews; however I did not feel the book deserved such a low rating based on a one star review someone decided to leave, simply because the main characters in the story are gay. That is deplorable and narrow minded.

Loved Lando and Dom's story. I thought it was a great bridge between the Marked Men series end and the Saints of Denver series beginning.

At first I wasnt sure if I would want to read a detailed romance/hot sex scene narrative between two men. Don't get me wrong the thought of a romance was great to me. But I have enjoyed every book I have read by this author and love the marked series so I gave it a shot. And I wasn't disappointed. I think the author challenged herself and gave Dom and Orlando a beautiful and hot love story.

Jay Crownover has woven a memorable, touching love story. The individuals involved just happen to both be male. Each brings ghosts and demons of dreams damaged and lost; together they build a promising "new normal".

After I had read Rule, I desperately wanted Orlando to fall in love again. I've waited a long time, but it was well worth it!

This was my first m/m read and I really enjoyed it. A great lead into the next series.

At first I wasn't so sure how it would pan out, but I'm so glad I read this book!! I've read a lot of books but never about two gay men, beautifully written without being crude. Love is love and I'm so happy she wrote Lando's and Dom's story!!

LOVE this book. So raw and full of emotion. This book will pull at your heartstrings. So raw and full of emotion. The old and the new coming together. We often think we have moved on from the past and go on with our lives til one day that one person walks in and levels us. I don't know I love more Dom or Lando but your in for a good story.

I can’t even tell you how excited I am that Jay wrote this book. Since we learned Remy’s truth in Rule, I’ve wanted to know more about the man he was involved with. Well, wish granted… and it was everything I wanted it to be. Thank you, Jay.
Lando might not’ve been a huge part of the Marked Men books, but he was an important one and I can’t tell you how happy it made me to finally see him get another chance at love. The events of the night Remy died still haunt Lando years later. Understandably. His fear of losing someone he loves again has kept him from pursuing something real with another man. When he meets hot cop Dominic during his recovery after being injured in the line of duty, there’s a undeniable spark. Of course, there’s a lot of hesitation on Lando’s part because of the nature of Dominic’s job and his fear about losing someone again. And, I mean, how can you blame him?
While this was a novella, it still felt like a full story. The characters were well-developed and grew over the course of the story. They both had to face some truths and come to terms with them before they could be together. It was sexy, funny and sweet. There were plenty of feels. It was the perfect way to bridge the gap between the Marked Men and Saints of Denver series. I was over the moon to get some scenes with some of my beloved Marked Men characters while being introduced into this new series. I was already ridiculously excited about the Saints of Denver series, but after getting a peek into the new world during this book, I have to say I have a major case of grabby hands for Built. It can’t get here soon enough. I can’t wait for Sayer and Zeb’s story.

I'm a "BABY BOOMER" and names were easy to tell the gender back then but today-WOW!! O.K; question at hand.After reading the overview,I'm under the impression that the characters are gay.I have no problem with that.l just find it fasinating that after having my Nook for about three years now,I don't recall a story that involves a gay couple.I'm not even for sure that this one does either.Enlighten me from someone who does.DUH!!!!!
