SO WORTH THE WAIT Levet has returned to Paris the place of his heart and of his birth. When it was realised that Levet would remain a three foot gargoyle he was not only rejected and shunned by his family his own mother tried to take his life. Now he is back and determined to be reinstated in the Gargoyle Guild after defeating the Dark Lord and saving the world with a little help from the Vampires, Were's and others he is determined to prove to his mother he is worthy to have his name put in the sacred book all he need to do is get past all those who would see him dead including his mother and then show her his truth (sounds easy, not likely). With a little unexpected help from a nymph named Valla and a sexy vampire Elijah can Levet finally have what would truly make his heart smile. If you have read The Guardians of Eternity series by Alexandra Ivy you will have fallen in love with the mischievous, tormenting but every loving gargoyle named Levet and if you haven't do yourself a favour and add it to your TBR list this series is one of the best I have ever read and I highly recommend it to everyone

Cute storyline:  LEVET (a novella) LEVET is a bonus novella included with the paper copy of Darkness Avenged. As the little gargoyle shunned by his own kind, LEVET is a hero in his own eyes. At the end of Fear the Darkness, Levet was instrumental in helping to defeat the Dark Lord but he continues to be the bane of many a vampire’s existence. But Levet is a power until himself and returning home to the land of his birthplace, Levet will encounter the family who pushed him aside as a freak and a mistake. And in his mind, Levet deserves to have his name placed on the Wall of Memories for all time and in doing so Levet must face his worst fears-the gargoyles he once called family. Levet is like a small child who at times craves the attention of adults, but this little gargoyle is trying to find a place in the grand scheme of the supernatural world. Upon his return to Paris, he must not only face his sibling as well as his brutal mother, but also a vampire who is slowly losing his hold on the woman with whom he has fallen in love. And it will take a small gargoyle with a heart of stone, to show the vampire the way to a woman’s heart is through love. LEVET is a cute storyline that offers up a small peak into the world of a shunned gargoyle who wants to be loved for himself. Both heartwarming and heartbreaking, Levet is a welcome addition to the Guardians of Eternity family of storylines and novels.

~ 5 Levet Stars ~ I love Levet and am so happy for him right now. I’ve adored him from the moment he was introduced in the Guardians of Eternity books and I look forward to seeing him in the future books. After what happened in Fear the Darkness , I could not wait to see what happens next for Levet. All the trials, heroism, and persistence in the face of danger has finally paved the way for him to over come his past, put closer on his clan, and get something he has wanted for years. We are also given a tiny romantic side story, where Levet does his usual match making. It was a sweet story, but I would have loved it to be a novel or a full length of it’s own Levet is a nice novel in the series and we get to see our mischievous and loving gargoyle again. Fan’s will enjoy Levet.

If you've read the Guardian's of Eternity series by Alexandra Ivy, then you've heard of Levet, the small charismatic gargoyle who was banished by his family from Paris for being too small, having "fairy" wings, and having difficulty controlling his magic. After sacrificing himself for the world and being brought back to health by the demon he "loves". Levet decides to return to Paris and demand that he be reinstated to the Gargoyle Guild, after all, he did prevent the ultimate evil, the Dark Lord, from taking over the world. "With few allies, Levet's survival may depend on the aid of two strangers: Valla, a beautiful but damaged nymph, and Elijah, the fiercely possessive, love-struck vampire clan chief to whom she can't quite surrender--unless Levet has something to do with it. . ." -- from Amazon. This story allows us to learn more about Levet while also finding out what happened to Valla who was featured in a previous book in the series. Levet is true to form, oblivious to those alpha males and friend to all females - unless they are his own family of course. Even in this very short story, Alexandra Ivy weaves a story that pulls at the heart strings and has you sighing when the couple finds their HEA.

Levet returns to Paris and the family that shunned him determined to be reinstated to the Gargoyle Guild from which he was shunned. Levet has always been different and that becomes even more apparent as we meet his family, it's not just his physical appearance that is different but his entire nature. Can he find the inner strength to face his demons before they destroy him? Levet makes new friends in his usual style but will they be a help or a hindrence? I thoroughly enjoyed the insights into Levet and what happened to make him the Gargoyle he is today. He is in my top 3 favourite sidekicks and I don't see that changing anytime soon. The new charcters are what made this for me. Elijah. I want more, in fact I need to know more. Valla, I'm curious about too.
