Life-Changers is a literary short story with a diverse cast. It is told in short scenes, all related to each other in some way, that each takes on a new point-of-view character who faces a moment that changes their life--some for the better, but some for the worse. It explores what it means to be human and all the different ways we experience the world.

You open the grey sliding door. It creaks hestitantly before giving. You walk in, your sneakers tapping the linoneum flooring. You can barely make out the lumpy shape of a child buried under the blankets. The hospital window barely gave any light to shine through, blinds covering it permanently. <br> "H...hi?" You stammer. <br> <br> A girl popped her head from udrr the blanket. She loked to be about six. Her green eyes glittered. <br> "Hello. I'm ________________." You say. <br> The girl tells you her name. You smile. But tears well up in your eyes when you see the girl breathing heavily with a special tank besides her bed. <br> "So...is there something you'd like to do?"
