You open the grey sliding door. It creaks hestitantly before giving. You walk in, your sneakers tapping the linoneum flooring. You can barely make out the lumpy shape of a child buried under the blankets. The hospital window barely gave any light to shine through, blinds covering it permanently.
"H...hi?" You stammer.

A girl popped her head from udrr the blanket. She loked to be about six. Her green eyes glittered.
"Hello. I'm ________________." You say.
The girl tells you her name. You smile. But tears well up in your eyes when you see the girl breathing heavily with a special tank besides her bed.
" there something you'd like to do?" You ask.
A smile crept across the girl's pale face. "I want to fly."

~International Bacon Society
