Like a Fire

In the natural world, forest fires are good things. If there were no fires, weeds would overtake and strangle the trees, and rob the soil of valuable nutrients. As a result, our forests would become weak, spindly, and useless. A forest fire goes through and kills those killer weeds. Their ashes go back into the earth and nourish it. The trees take that nourishment and grow.
