As an author, what tools do you use to proofread your work? Do you need help with proofreading your manuscript?
I find that when I am reading what I have just written, my mind sometimes plays tricks on me. I read words that I failed to type, while sometimes adding nonexistent extensions to other words, or skipping over words that were repeated (as if my printer developed a stutter).
