Holly O’Rourke has been through two failed marriages and is stuck in a stale relationship with James Macklin. She can feel the distance between the two of them the last couple years but cannot figure out what is going on. A chance meeting with a co-worker has given her feeling for him and she is torn between Charlie and James. So Holly decides to visit a psychic to figure out what to do and begins a journey through her past lives. She learns that many evens and people have affected her throughout time and she is hoping that this time she gets her happily ever after. This was an interesting story. Holly has the troubles of learning about James and his wanderings which causes a whole fresh set of drama in her life. But the part I really enjoyed was when she would visit her different past lives. It was really fascinating how she would keep running into the same people in her lives and not just the romantic area. She seems to keep dealing with the same issues so it was about time that she come out on top. This book is not one of my usual reads but I’m glad that I decided to read it. This is one that I recommend checking out, you may be pleasantly surprised. I received Little Bits of Karma from Silver Dagger Book Tours for free. This has in no way influenced my opinion of this book.

Reviewed by Rabia Tanveer for Readers' Favorite Little Bits of Karma by Laura Simmons is the story of Holly and how she rediscovers herself by discovering her past lives. Holly O’Rourke is a 45-year-old woman. After two bad marriages, she gave her heart to James. They had been in a relationship for eleven years. Everything was great for the first nine years, but for the past two years, things have been strained between them. James is pulling away from her and she has no idea why. Her life takes a confused turn when she meets a co-worker who intrigues her. Charlie is someone who makes her question everything about her relationship with James. To get answers, she consults a psychic who helps her find a direction for the future through her past lives. This experience helps her find a direction, but it also shows her past relationships with men all the way back to the City of Atlantis. Is her past supposed to help her or confuse her more? Who is she destined to live forever with; James or Charlie? First of all, I appreciate the author writing about people who are middle aged and older. Usually, writers concentrate on characters who are in their mid to late 20s. Laura gets extra brownie points for that. I liked the reincarnation aspect of the novel and I liked the way things worked out in the end. It got a little confusing at times, but that is not a major issue. I enjoyed reading it and I wouldn’t say no to reading about a couple of Holly’s past lives either. A great read.

"Little Bits of KARMA" by Laura Simmons is a very intriguing story that explains reincarnation; the supernatural force of redemption and the universal power of forgiveness. This story is shared from inside of the lives, present and past of Holly O'Rourke. Her decision, to visit a Psychic Medium, to address her desire to learn about her past lives This decision takes Holly on a journey of spiritual healing and understanding. This book is very well written and reads comfortably, whether you believe in Reincarnation or not. For me, it provided answers to life long questions, while leaving me with a longing to pursue those still unanswered. I highly recommend this book.
