Inspired by the classic AEC Routemaster, the New Routemaster (later renamed) was the first bus specifically built for London since 1968. This book chronicles its journey, from Boris Johnson's vision and the design competition won by Wrightbus and Heatherwick Studios, to the unveiling of the prototype in 2011 and the delivery of 1,000 buses by 2017.
