Lord's Prayer - Colouring In with Alphy
We have a God with a creative imagination and as Christians, we all have a creative imagination of some sorts. This little book helps tap into that creative imagination and combining it with solid biblical teaching. Colouring-In Devotional - consider it a type of messy church for your devotions as we learn together about the prayer we call the "Lord's Prayer". It is perhaps the most repeated prayer in the world. It is said by those professing to be Christian Disciples and also by those who are not. It is given by Jesus Christ as a model for all prayers by those who are following Him. Hence, Jesus saying "How you should pray" (Matthew 6:9). When it is spoken and prayed, I wonder if some people truly understand what is being prayed! Come inside and use your colouring-in creativity and learn afresh or be reminded about this ancient prayer of Christianity. You will learn more about this prayer, how it can impact your prayer life and all while you are creatively colouring-in as an adult! Here is what a couple of people have said about Colouring-In Devotionals for Adults: "Picture this..... Get your Bible and pencil case, open your music whatever form it's in. Put on some great worship music and open your very own unique experience to spending time with your creator." "What a great original idea, colouring is so relaxing, releases tension and helps our creativity. Highly recommend for mums and kids (and anybody else!)" "I bought it and gave it to our youth pastor as it is ideal for teenagers as well as adults, especially with the themes. Good present as a simple bible study course for new Christians and for people with learning difficulties. "

About the Author

We have a God with a creative imagination and as Christians, we all have a creative imagination of some sorts. This little book helps tap into that creative imagination and combining it with solid biblical teaching.

As to how I got here, well that is a different story! I was born in a small country town in Australia. I was raised to be a skeptical agnostic/atheist with the words "Churches are dangerous places" ringing in my ears. Coming into my teenage years, I decided if Churches are so dangerous, let's rebel and go for a bit of danger! So I rebelled, became a Christian, started attending a local Christian youth group and was baptized...

After baptism, I was discipled for 2 years by a local Christian couple. This discipleship involved reading books, listening to sermons on cassette and then discussing what was read and heard.

In 1990, I came to the UK for 6 months travel around Europe! Or so I thought! I have stayed ever since. I view it as God having a sense of humour. He knows I don't like rain, cold and in particular - together! he has even given me the most beautiful of women as a wife but she doesn't like hot weather! God sure has a sense of humour!

In 2003, I had a stroke and I took redundancy from my job. I went off to Moorlands College where I graduated in 2007. Later that year, I set up Partakers. At the end of 2014, we have had over 4 million unique visitors to the site and had over 1 million resources downloaded.

We also now engage with others on Facebook, and have an active WOWChurch engaging with people there. We also take WOWChurch into nursing homes and have a regular Thursday WOWChurch in Ringwood. Alphy the WOWChurch Cat plays a central role in these activities.

I currently reside with my wife in Bournemouth in the UK. I travel often to speak in places including the USA and Australia and would love to come and see you. I hope as you read and study the books I have written, that you enjoy and perhaps learn something afresh or as a reminder. Please do contact me if you need clarification or disagree with something that is written here.
