I began writing poetry in the early eighties. The Lord inspired the majority of my poetry. I would be awakened around one a.m. with a poem in my heart and mind. I could not go back to sleep until I wrote it down. I keep and paper and pen close by . Sometimes I write on scrap paper on table napkins. Whatever is available whenthe poem comes to me.
