"Nothing really to tell, what you see is what you get."

I am every woman out there that has fantasies in her head. I am a daughter, a granddaughter, a sister, a wife, a lover, a mother, and a friend. I happen to also be a Doctor of Pharmacy and a business owner by day, and now a writer by night. Writing and reading help me escape the scary world we live in. I hope my stories help readers experience many different emotions and ultimately, I hope I make them smile…

Writing keeps me sane. I hope reading does the same for you.

I've read the term "unshed tears" in so many romance books, but I'd never really experienced it before until I read Love In Rewind. This book grabbed me right away and didn't let go. The feelings of a fairy tale love and the unexplained loss of that love will leave you yearning for more. I absolutely can't wait for the next book. I've got to know the rest of the story. This has a good mix of drama and romance. The characters are very solid. I love the way Emily is portrayed.

I know that not everyone has the same tastes, but this book is in poor taste. I stopped reading at page 13 and wished I hadn't read even that far.

Explicit sex and not much of a story. Didn't waste my time finishing it.

Ok, so I was in a book slump and asked for a recommendation from a friend. She recommended this book, so I gave it a try. (Thank you fellow bookie!) I literally was up reading until 3 am. My blinks were getting long and I was mad that I was falling asleep.  Louis and Emily. These two don't seem like they should fit together. He's older and has some serious money and in no way shape or form innocent. She comes from a well to do background, and she's an innocent and is very sheltered. I mean sheltered - sheltered. She's such a good girl.  I love how the author uses 80's songs in the book to reflect on how her and her best friend communicate. I imagine this could be from me growing up listening to these songs, but even if you didn't grow up listening to them you know how they are feeling.  You literally get see how their love is in rewind. You feel their love for each other, then you get to feel their heartache. My heart was beating in my chest like crazy! Tears were brimming in my eyes.  The author drew me in, the characters were so real, the kindle was smoking in places, (he has a very dirty mouth) and the way she ended it! I was like seriously? You're gonna do me like that? Killing me! I cannot wait for the next book in this series! You get to meet Sarah  and get to know her in this book. She's Emily's best friend and is crazy funny and has no filter. This book is not a cliffhanger, you'll just want to read the next book, desperately.

Love In Rewind !!  I absolutely loved this book it's one of those that pull you in and you feel like you are reliving it with them. Emily Bruel has everything a woman can want and more but after ten years of marriage she Rewinds her love story and tells us how it all began ..  Louis Bruel the HOT, rich playboy sweeps Emily off her feet . She's young, innocent and beautiful . The chemistry between them is undeniable . The sex OMG hot hot hot !! I can't tell you how many times I re read some scenes..  But just like with most marriages not everything is as perfect as you think . So why has the man that adores her and their family pulled away from her ?? Well you must read to find this out and let me tell you, you will not be disappointed . I laughed, cried and was so happy I read this book . Another thing I loved about this book was the way Emily and her best friend Sara communicated through 80's music it was fun to listen to and understand what they were saying to each other .

Love in Rewind is not your typical love story! The book starts off in the present and we are taken back through the beginning of their relationship. Love in Rewind is a book that so many women can relate to. It teaches us that lack of communication can bring the worst out of a situation. Assumptions almost break this marriage!  There were so many other great things about this book, including the links to the song lyrics!  I'm looking forward to reading any other books that Tali Alexander writes in the future!

This book was steamy but it was also about love. I couldn't wait to turn the page and see where this journey went. The way the writer described places you felt like you where there. Can't wait to read more from this author.

Love in Rewind lives up to its title. The story goes back to the start of the love affair between Emily Marcus and Louis Bruel. Emily, just eighteen, meets the handsome, successful older man, Louis, while working for her sister. She feels an instant attraction but thinks it’s only one sided until Louis makes her an indecent proposal. Emily doesn’t want to be that girl and quickly Louis changes tact and invites her out for coffee. He is patient, understanding and passionate. He courts Emily but her sister cautions her because of his playboy reputation. But as Emily spends more time with Louis she realises that there is more to him than meets the eye. ¿¿The courtship is adorable and sweet. Louis does all he can to prove to her that she means so much more to him than the other women who entered and existed his life. Emily is fearful that she isn’t enough for him but despite her concerns, the two of them marry and start a family together. But then Louis grows distant with Emily and her doubts re-emerge. He has withdrawn from her and she fears that he has returned to his playboy ways. Fearing the end, Emily decides to step back and think of what to do. Then something happens and Emily fears that she has lost everything. ¿¿Emily and Sara, her best friend, have a secret language through the use of 80s song titles which is fantastic! You go on a nostalgic journey back and reminisce about that period. It makes you want to play those songs all over again. The story will make you laugh, cry, love, and fan yourself from all the heat! And even when you close the pages, Emily and Louis’ tale will continue playing in your head… on repeat.

Wow, beyond amazing is all I can say. This book has patiently been waiting in my to be read pile and I'm so flipping giddy that I just spent a whole day falling in love with Emily and Louis. Their story brought me to tears, it was so emotionally written, I felt everything Emily was feeling from when she first met Louis up until the end. I'm spoiler free but I must say this is definitely a must read. When things got rough and Emily left to St. Lucia brought back memories, that was my honeymoon destination! I think this book was meant for me. I love how Tali put so much feeling in her characters. I would recommend this to everyone, lol even to my mother in law. By far one of my best top reads in 2014 and I only have a handful of top reads that I've read so far. Love is a funny thing if you know its meant to be go for it.

I really enjoyed reading Love In Rewind by Tali Alexander. I think we all wish for a love like what Louis and Emily have however just as we read in the book all relationships have doubts and insecurities. We dont communicate and we assume and then someone gets hurt but with Louis and Emily's love they know there is nothing that can stand between it if they work together to fix it even when mistakes happen. I really wanted to hate Louis when I first started reading Love In Rewind but he ended up being my favorite character in the book. He comes off as a hardass but in all reality he's just a big teddy bear. Tali Alexander has a unique writing style that I love and I cant wait to see what she has in store for us next.

First, loved the book and the 80s music. A lot of smokin hot scenes. Nit a huge fan of people saying I love you within days of meeting each other but it worked in this book

Awesome read! I actually really like Emily, the main female character. IMO, female leads often have major character flaws or act really  pathetic at times. I loved the way Emily interacted with Louis. And I love Louis! And the sex scenes are off the charts hot. Can't wait for  book 2!

There are so many things I can say about my journey with "Love in Rewind." The author, Tali Alexander gave me what I haven't had in a long time, and that was a Fairytale. Right out high school, fall in love with multi millionaire playboy...who doesn't want that? I initially was skeptical in how much I would truly enjoy this book. I then sat back and appreciated "Love in Rewind" for the sexy, hot, carnal love story it truly is! Emily and Louis deserve their story! Thank you Em for making Louis the world's sexiest, insatiable husband and thank you Louis for making Em the luckiest "little girl" this side of the Upper East Side! A MUST READ! Tali, please hurry with Audio Fools part 2...can we get a little 80's Cindy Lauper in book 2?

If you can take away a lesson from a book, it's a book worth reading. Love In Rewind reminded me of something very important…communication is the key! If you cannot communicate, be honest and open, no relationship will last. We tend to forget this tiny bit of information but it's something that can save a marriage, a relationship, a friendship.  "Whatever you did in the past, good or bad, is what made you the man I love today. You have to believe that all of your choices have brought us to the here and now." You know when you sometimes take a chance on a book and an author that you have never heard of but their book cover screams READ ME!!! I felt that with Love in Rewind! I am not one who really pays much attention to book covers (I hate judging a book that way) but the title & the cover got me interested. Once I read the synopsis, I was sold! This story was different. A different idea.  I love the way it started off in the present tense. We all deal with issues in marriages. While I reading I kept saying…."preach it girl", "we all have been there" and my favorite "ugh, men!!!!"  Then the book takes us in rewind, to the past. To where it ALL began.  Let me just say….I have not laughed this much in a while! Young Emily had me rolling on the Subway (on my way to work) and you know that can be dangerous!!!  Here is one of my favs of young Em! "I was starting to get carpal tunnel syndrome in my wrists from my new favorite pastime of stimulating my genitals to thoughts of the hottest man I'd ever laid eyes on." Once you get to this part…you will laugh, and understand it more. LOL! I liked how Louis and Emily met. Might not be ideal to some but when it comes to love anything can happen! You better believe it!!! I loved the way Louis was with Emily. I will not say much because I can't spoil it for you & you need to experience it for yourself but Louis had me swooning. My lady bits were getting excited, I was getting hot & sweaty. He's hot. He's romantic. He's handsome. He's sweet. He's a lot of thing. His past was crappy BUT who doesn't have a past where they messed up? No one is perfect. But he was perfect for Em. He was perfect for me. (SWOON)  This book also had 80's music! Hell yes! 80's baby over here! I really enjoyed every time Emily and her BFF Sara would express themselves through the tiles & the lyrics. It was one of my favorite things in LIR. Love in Rewind is romance packed; action packed; drama packed; friendship packed.  It had me laughing, crying, cursing. I love books that give me emotion. Sometimes you have to hit rock bottom to get to the top and I feel like LIR did that for me. When I got to the end, I was frustrated…but in a GOOD way! I just wanted more. I didn't want to close the last page on Louis. I was craving for more Louis, more Emily, more of everything. Get this book. Fall in love with Louis. Get your girlfriends to read, talk about the book together.  I cannot wait to read the second book <3

This book was given to me for an honest review.  I gave this book 5 stars because it had a great story line. Emily Marcus Bruel has spent her entire adult life loving Louis.  Their relationship was a whirlwind courtship and a love affair of epic proportions.  Everyone who knew them thought they had the perfect marriage.  But, Emily can tell something is not quite right.  The author takes the reader back to the beginning of the relationship and tells the story from the start.  You can feel the chemistry leaping off the page between the two of them from the beginning.  What happened to change that frenzy love affair?  How did they wind up a decade down the road just co-existing?  This story kept me coming back because I wanted to find out where their love went wrong.  I highly recommend this novel….steamy and sweet at the same time.

Let me just start by saying that this book was such an amazing read!! I loved Sara & Em's language and all the music intertwined in the book!! And Louis Bruel, oh Louis Bruel... Emily is one lucky b*tch! Lol. I loved this book and all the things it threw at me. I found myself holding my breath wondering how their story would end. At one point I wanted Louis to trip on his face but I recovered from that feeling. I definitely recommend this read to all of you who are wanting to read a book that has hotness, love, angst & that reminds of the importance of communication in relationships. Tali Alexander u did an amazing job & I can't wait to read more bks from u!

I received a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review. This book was hot, emotional, had me in tears, left me reeling and dying for book two. It starts out ten years into the marriage, two kids later and the honeymoon is over. I loved this aspect of the book, it doesn't start off all happy and romance. So in the midst of Emily thinking her marriage is crumbling, she rewinds and remembers the beginning. Emily is a young innocent 18 year old virgin. She's helping her sister Jenna when she's in a bind with her catering business, when she's short staffed. Louis is older than Emily. He's rich, famous and the definition of the ultimate womanizer. She becomes infatuated staring at her dream man all night and continues to think about him after that party, so much so that she takes on a job to serve all summer in hopes of seeing Louis again. He kept tabs on her all night and couldn't get her out of his mind. The next party he traps her in the kitchen, sexual tension is flying and he's offering to fly her across the country for a date. She settles for coffee, and afraid she's a conquest, she tells him she can't see him. He doesn't take no for an answer. He vows to get her ro be his one day and they date, no sex. He does what he wanted to from day one and flies her across the world for their birthday's which are the same day and proposes offering her the world. All is perfect and a fairy tale until ten years in she sees what she's always feared, Louis going back to his old ways of a bachelor and being distant. It's a must read to get all the emotions this book has. I'm beyond ready for book two. 5-Bombs Reviewed by Jenna

Love in Rewind by Tali Alexander was an exceptional book. I started and finished this book in one day. Most of the story takes place in the past and leads up to the current situation at the start of the book. The emotions that the characters feel suck you in to the point that you start to feel what they are feeling, whether it is love, lust, or heart break.  I think the Tali captured the mindset of an eighteen year old virgin perfectly. She showcased the naivety of Emily with such perfection that you cannot help but laugh at some of the stuff that comes out of her mouth. Louis was a surprise for me. He goes from a horn dog player to a man that cannot exist without his love.  This story has everything a true love story needs and then some. The sex scenes are hot, the love is sweet and nothing could go wrong. Right up until it does. Louis learns the hard way that keeping secrets can and does lead to false assumptions and misunderstandings.  I give this book 5 stars ***** for its ability to pull me so thoroughly into the book that I was able to block out everything around me. I cannot wait to read more about this couple that has worked their way into my heart.

I did not even brother to finish reading this book as the whole storyline , if there was one, was too far fetched to believe. Book is just about sexual encounters.
