I absolutely loved LOVE ME AGAIN. This second-chance romance is full of heart and loads of laughs! Loretta is a strong heroine. She’s moved back to Hope for a fresh start for herself and her daughter Hazel. Loretta’s bought a home, opened a business and seems to be doing well… until her high school sweetheart Deacon begins working in the building next door to her book store. Deacon is a smokin’ hot contractor with a sexy smile and muscles for miles. He’s handsome, successful and single. The only problem he has is that the woman who broke his heart 12 years ago is back in town with a daughter in tow; but every time she smiles, it does all kinds of things to his head and other places. Deacon’s plans of ignoring Loretta fall apart as his company is hired to renovate the building next to hers. It’s not long before their chemistry reignites a fiery passion that neither of them can escape from… nor do they want to. Deacon is so freakin’ swoon-worthy! First of all, he’s a buff contractor doing manual labor all day with some very nice… perks I definitely want tickets to his gun show! But it’s not his body that won me over. Deacon is amazing to Loretta’s daughter Hazel. You gotta love a man who’s great with kids! What I loved most about this book was Hazel’s dog, Otis. Every scene with this dog was brilliant! I laughed so much! He is an essential part of the story and I love how the author incorporates pets throughout the whole series. LOVE ME AGAIN is an ideal contemporary romance. A second chance at first love and a big goofy dog are just a few of the many wonderful things about this book. I highly recommend it and any book by Jaci Burton. ***I voluntarily read a copy of the book in exchange for an honest review. All thoughts and feelings are my own***

Love Jaci Burton's books BUT this was a little too slow for me. The best part of the book was towards the end. Two stars for me...

4.5 star The story has laughs, secrets, twists & turns, a second chance, and heartbreak. If you have not read the below I would recommend reading those books(s) first Hope Smolders (Hope, #0.5) Hope Flames (Hope #1) Hope Ignites (Hope, #2) Hope Burns (Hope #3) Love After All (Hope, #4) Make Me Stay (Hope, #5) Don't Let Go (Hope, #6) This is Loretta and Deacon’s story. Loretta and Deacon were high school sweethearts until her family convinced her that she should be with a different man. She went along with her parent’s suggestion even though it broke Deacon’s heart and her own heart. Now years later she is back in her hometown and divorced. She is all about just raising her daughter and she has no time for a man. But Deacon still lives in her small town and the chemistry between them is still burning hot. Can they resist each other? First before having any future they have to overcome all the hurts of the past. Can they do that or is it just too late for that? Can Loretta try and have a relationship with Deacon when she knows if they break up what kind of impact that will have on her daughter Hazel that is already in love with Deacon? Can these two get a second chance at love? Or will she always listen to the advice of her parents and shut Deacon out? I loved these characters. I felt I could connect with the characters and the story was a great read. I highly recommend this book.

NUMBER OF HEARTS: 4 After Loretta’s divorce she found herself at a bit of a cross roads. Not really knowing what to do or where to go. But when she thought of were she wanted to raise her daughter the only place that would do would be Hope. But going home is not always the easiest thing to do. Going home means facing your past. A past that involves on Deacon Fox. Another wonder story from Hope, Oklahoma. In Love Me Again we get to see high school sweethearts Deacon and Loretta reconnect after to many years apart. I really enjoyed watching Loretta grow as a person and a mom. For her to find her own footing but still being able to lean on Deacon. I really enjoyed this story. Deacon is just so sweet and forgiving. He knows what he wants and is not afraid to go for it. Convincing Loretta might be another story. And of course Otis!! I mean who could love this silly, tomato plant stealing, shoe chewing guy? But I do want to know about the two high school friends. It felt like the story line on that was never really resolved. Yes there was a confrontation but I wanted more out of it. Maybe in a future book there will be more? I don’t know. But until then. I am looking forward to the next installment in this series. ✦Review: LOVE ME AGAIN (A Hope Novel) by Jaci Burton Publication Date: May 2, 2017 Genre: Contemporary Romance Reviewed by: Reading in Pajamas/ Donna Rated 5 Stars I fell in love with this book. Deacon is the perfect man to fall in love with. Understanding, caring, hot and sexy. Who can ask for more? I was glad that I could relate to Loretta right away, so that I could care about her and her little girl, Hazel. I’ve enjoyed the Hope novels, but this one gave me the warm fuzzies without going overboard. Smoothly written, believable and reinforced my desire to live in Hope. I can’t wait for the next installment. *Review copy provided by Pengiun in exchange for an honest review. ~*~*~*~

Love Me Again by Jaci Burton is the 7th book in her wonderful Hope series. I have loved every book in this series, and Jaci Burton does it again with another wonderful story. We knew from the previous book that Loretta Simmons had returned home to Hope, after a failed marriage. We also knew she broke her high school sweetheart, Deacon Fox’s heart, when she married someone else. Deacon has not forgotten Loretta, but is determined to avoid her as much as possible, since he wants nothing to do with her. Loretta owns a book store in town, and is dismayed when she sees Deacon beginning to restore (he owns a construction business) the building next store. Loretta’s 9 year old daughter, Hazel, sits outside the store, and watches Deacon work. Almost immediately, a friendship begins with Deacon and young Hazel. When Loretta allows Hazel to bring home a dog from the local shelter, she is not too happy with her choice of a huge great dane. It will be Deacon who will work with Hazel to train Otis, the dog. This will open the way for Loretta and Deacon to start talking again, and slowly a second chance romance starts. Where both of them are gun shy, their chemistry is still there, and it doesn’t take long for the fire to ignite. Deacon was surprisingly sweet and always looking out for Loretta. In a short time, they will rehash the days when she left him and why. Deacon learns that Loretta was pushed to marry her ex by her own parents, which turned out to be a disaster. For the first time, Loretta has become independent and handling things on her own, without her parents rule. It was nice to see both of them fall in love again, and how much Hazel has come to love Deacon, too. Tom, Loretta’s ex, is an upcoming politician, and did not spend quality time with Hazel. Loretta and Deacon were a great couple, and it was nice to see many of our previous couples again. I also loved Otis, the fun loving dog, and the interaction with him and both Hazel and Deacon. Lots of fun. Jaci Burton once again gives us a sweet heartwarming story line, in a small town, with so many wonderful characters that we get to see. In each book, she gives us a great couple, each might have some issues, but love will prevail, and we always get our happy ever after. If you enjoy sweet and sexy romances, with a nice storyline, and great couple, then you should be reading the Hope series.

Old formula and nothing more. This book dragged and over explained the same scenario. By the end I was happy it was over. I live the authors other work. This book was a dud.

A great story about former lovers who find each other again as they reconnect yeats later and rediscover what led them to one another in the first place. Throw in a lovable dog and adorable daughter and you have the perfect recipe for a love story.
