Another great read! Love the Rock Royalty series. This was an extremely fast read - couldn't put it down.

This was a well-written, enjoyable book. Beck returns to LA after an accident that has caused him to have months of his memory lost. Jewel has a couple of secrets, one of which is her childhood crush on Beck. When they meet as adults their chemistry is off the charts. But what will happen when Beck finds out Jewel's other secret? This was such a sweet, heartwarming story! It can be read as a standalone book, though it is part of a series with related characters.

I totally loved Love Me Two Times by Christie Ridgway. This is book 8 in her Rock Royalty series and most likely her last; this is Beck Hopkins’ story. Beck is the eldest of the nine children of the Velvet Lemmons, a band their fathers created. He is the wanderer, choosing to travel around the world and report about these travels. In the previous books it was noted that Beck had been missing. Beck returns to the compound after recovering from injuries suffered in a kayak accident along the Nile in Africa. He has lost a portion of his memories, the time before leaving on his journey. As he works through his frustration trying to force these recollections, he discovers his neighbor Jewel Malone and her daughter Soul. Jewel has a few secrets of her own, which Beck uncovers as he spends time with Jewel and Soul. I loved the way Christie Ridgway took the reader along on Beck’s journey as he finds those missing memories. This was a wonderful, fun and entertaining story with very likeable and authentic characters that you want to cheer on, hoping for that happy ending. The characters were well written with complex characteristics. The story line was riveting and kept my attention to the very end. I enjoyed reading this book and had trouble putting this book down, reading it in one day. I highly recommend this book to other readers. I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy of this book.

This is the 8th (and final) book in the Rock Royalty series - romance stories about the children of the fictional rock band the Velvet Lemons. The oldest of the Tribe, Beck Hopkins, returns to California from a trip to Africa where he had a bout of amnesia. He still has some holes in his memory from the last time before that trip and sexy neighbor Jewel seems to be part of that missing past. Searing sex scenes make this a hot romance, but I actually enjoyed seeing all of the characters from the past books in this series make appearances culminating in Cilla & Ren's wedding (finally!). (I received a copy of the book in exchange for an honest and unbiased opinion.)

Rock Royalty is what the media dubbed the children of the band The Velvet Lemons. These children survived a rather unorthodox childhood to go from misfits to a tight family that loves and supports one another! I have read all the books in this series and each time I think I could not love these characters any more than I do! But that is wrong I do love each of them more each time! Christie Ridgway writes with humor, she has well developed characters. Love Me Two Times kept me enthralled. I finished in one day. I love a book that you can't put down. Love this author and her books! She is top notch!

A good ending to the Rock Royalty series. We have been waiting for Beck to come home through the whole series and he is finally home and has no memory. He doesn't even remember Jewel and it is heartbreaking for her. She has a secret for Beck, but is afraid to tell him since he doesn't even remember their time together. As Beck comes to terms with the new way of life that the others have chosen, he has to either continue to be a loner or choose to join in. He has so much to lose if he walks away this time.

How a reader knows they just read something special. When a reader counts down the days to the date of release. When you make a pact with yourself not to cry and go through a box of Kleenex anyway. From beginning to end, wanting to experience the journey all over again. Love Me Two Times is a reminder of why I love the Rock Royalty series. A family born from chaos and pain proves that the power of love can conquer anything. Through times of sorrow, moments of danger, instances of happiness and the surprises too numerous to count Ren, Cilla, Beck, Bing, Cami, Payne, Reed, Brody and Walsh learned that blood ties are not the only thing that helps a family thrive. Deep connections, faith and an abundance of love are just as powerful. In Love Me Two Times, Beck and Jewel's journey is one of healing, forgiveness and self enlightenment. It's not always easy and there are rainy days before the sun breaks through, but the trek is worth every tear.
