Shayna Washington, an Olympic Gold track and field athlete, meets Michael Morgan, a Sports agent wanting to put Shayna on the map with endorsements and eventually in his arms. The attraction between these two jumps off the pages during their meeting, discussing Michael’s strategy in managing Shayna’s career. They both fight the attraction and with Michael being the Playa Supreme, he doesn’t realize he is falling and falling hard for Shayna. This couple goes through some drama and at times I wanted to come through my kindle and smack Shayna for some of the stunts she allowed her family and ex to use on her. I agree with another reviewer, if Zuri’s goal was to have readers ready to smack the hell out of Shayna, then Ms. Zuri you have accomplished your goal. This book was a great start to the Morgan Men series and I will love to see Michael’s brothers as well as Shayna’s track running mates meet their significant others and jump into love.

Normally I enjoy Ms. Day's books, but this one just seemed to go on and on. The secondary stories were bothersome, and Shay's immaturity really got on my nerves! Especially telling her friends, mother and ex everything that went on. So this was not Ms. Day's best.

Being on the top of the sports management world, Michael Morgan has dealt with his share of female athletes, but his new client Shayna Washington has gotten his attention in more ways than one. Shayna is at the top of the track and field world and with Michael behind her, her brand is destined to soar. However, Shayna has a few things in her life destined to be in her future at all cost. Not sure who she can trust, Shayna puts her all in Michael, but didn’t bank on her heart being a part of that as well. Michael has his own struggles as this sworn bachelor begins to mix business with pleasure and realizes he may have found his match. Shayna finds she is in for the biggest race of her life and it’s not all smooth sailing to the finish line. “Love on the Run” is an infectious story that shadows the innocence of a good natured person forced to deal with people in her life who may not have her best interest at heart and a past that does not want to stay in the past. The story line flows throughout causing readers to want to continue to find out who is behind the deception and lies. The characters are well developed and each brings an important part to the story line. I would recommend this to readers who enjoy a little intrigue with their story. It will have you cheering for Shayna until the very end. Reviewed by: Lashonda 3.5 stars

I'm a big fan of Ms. Day, but this book is one of the boringest books I've read in a long time. The story is just long and did could not hold my attention. I purchase this book over three months ago and finally forced myself to finish it. WISH I COULD GET MY MONEY BACK. Go to this borrow it from the library if you desire to read it.
