But because I wasn't sure how it would be received.
There was always a hesitation, an uncertainty about whether people would understand it, or whether they would think I wasn't capable, or that it wasn't enough.
So I kept writing, but I kept it to myself.
And in doing that, writing became something very personal. Something honest. Something that didn't need approval to exist.
