Ann Major can break a heart as easily as she can piece it back together. My favorite aspect of her stories is that she has a beautiful way of speaking to the heart without sugarcoating the outcome. Love With an Imperfect Cowboy reads like a tragic love song. There are betrayals, emotional losses and mysterious tragedies that haunt every leg of Liam and Hannah's journey. However, along the way each learns a valuable lesson about themselves and the healing powers of faith and love. It's hard not to get teary eyed when reading Ann Major.

Title: Love With An Imperfect Cowboy - Lone Star Dynasty Book 1 Author: Ann Major Published: 3-28-2016 Publisher: Major Press LLC Pages: 310 Genre: Romance Sub Genre: Series; Western; Holiday ISBN: 13: 9781942473107 ASIN: B01DKLPSQ6 Reviewer: DelAnne Reviewed For: NetGalley Rating: 4.75 Stars I received a copy of "Love With an Imperfect Cowboy" from NetGalley and the publisher in exchange for my honest review. Description Should she? Or shouldn’t she? When a rough-cut Texas cowboy haunted by his past saves a Park Avenue bride on the run, opposites attract in a big, Texas way in USA Today Bestselling Ann Major's Love With an Imperfect Cowboy. Hannah Lewis never imagined she’d run from her own magnificent, Upper East Side wedding. Born and bred in a penthouse on Park Avenue, she excels at everything - except maybe juggling a career, planning a wedding and paying attention to her fiancé. But couldn't he have chosen another day to cheat with her twin sister? Now Hannah's headed as far away as she can get from New York and her public humiliation. No one will expect to find her at a dude ranch in Lonesome, Texas … but just maybe she can find herself there. Liam Stark is trying to hold it together on the anniversary of the worst night of his life. When a stuck-up beauty walks into the Lonesome Dove Bar, full of rough truckers and ranch-hands, she's trouble in red cowgirl boots--trouble that Liam doesn't need. Especially when he offers her safe haven from a storm on his ranch, and she stirs up memories he'd give anything to forget. Liam has lost too many people he loved--his wife and son on a dangerous stretch of Texas highway, and men under his command in the Afghan conflict. This beauty will be gone in a New York minute as well … unless he asks her to stay. Attraction flames between them, hot as the Texas sun. But when their pasts cause problems, can they trust each other enough to believe they can share a future? My Review of "Love With An Imperfect Cowboy": I have been reading Ann Major for nearly forty years, since she first began With Harlequin. She as never failed to deliver a HEA and leave the reader feeling happy and good about the story they just finished. "Love With An Imperfect Cowboy" is no exception. The characters are well rounded and easy to identify with. Ms. Major plots her stories so that they flow at a quick pace and keep the reader interested in what the characters are going through. The cowboy might be imperfect but this novel is awfully close to a perfect romance. My rating for "Love Wit An Imperfect Cowboy" is 4.75 out of 5 stars.

This is a very good story. Steam, heart ache, turmoil and a little mystery. Am still wondering about the beginning and little Jack. Well worth the time spent
