About the Author

A Midwesterner by birth, R.E. spent much of her childhood rewriting her favorite books to include herself as the main character. Later, she graduated on to writing her own books after "retiring" from her day job as a secretary to become a stay-at-home mom. When not playing with her kids, wrestling her dogs out the door, or cooking dinner for her family, you'll find her typing furiously and growling obscenities to the characters on the screen. Her best-selling series Wiccan-Were-Bear, The Necklace Chronicles, Hyena Heat, Wilde Creek, Were-Zoo, Arctic Shifters, Norlanian Brides, Saber Chronicles, and Ashland Pride are available now.

As a fan of RE Butler's, I was prepared to love her latest work. In spite of that Iwas a bit nurvious over Lachlyn having a mate when she meats Alek. I had no reason for concern. This is a wonderful book that took me through every range of emotions. I want to ring some female lion neck. No big surprise there though. Lol! It is a wonderful addition to my library. On I am sure to read many more times!

she was told she was a dud be her clan except by the one she loved and her best friend. now the pair find their 3rd and trouble follows them thanks to some mountain lion females who want revenge. I am voluntarily leaving my honest review of this book. This is book 2 of the Ashland Pride book series by the author.

Ashland Alek Fallon is a mountain lion shifter and deputy in Ashland. He never thought he would find a mate and the loneliness was getting to him. Georgia Lachlyn has been hiding out in Georgia since her parents sent her to college to be safe from the king of the were bears. He doesn't like werebears that can't shift and he does not want her around his son. When her grandma dies she has yo come back for one to handle things then leave for good. Only the werebear king gets her. Jericho has always wanted Lachlyn. He doesn't care that she can't shift and he plans to leave the clan to be with her. When he finds out she is in dangerhe has to fight his father to keep her safe. He has no problem joining forces with Alek yo keep thier mate happy and safe. Lots of action, drama, intrigue, suspense, betrayal, mystery and more. I couldn't put it down. It's even better the the first book! Voluntarily reviewed a copy and I honestly loved it.

This was my first intro to R.E.'s Ashland Pride series and I am liking it. Being a leo and like that this is about a lion clan. Once again she has blended the right about of action sex and romance to keep me hooked. I cant wait to read more in this series.

One of my favorite authors, this book was very good and I recommend it . I now have the Nook HD (my first generation nook stopped working & I sure wish they still made it because I miss it--it was so much better than the newer styles in putting all the books in the shelves and being able to arrange them in the order I wanted them) anyhow this new HD Nook: I can't find RE Butlers books. All I get is some weird authors and movies --what the heck is going on! Hope they get it fixed because her new one should be coming out soon. Anyway this one book was very good

This was a great read, love the spongebob scene. This had great insight into the three main characters as well as a few others. Was great catching up with the Ashland pride again. Jericho is a very caring, generous, accepting, protective thoughtful mate consodering how his horrible father brought him up and made him do. It was great for Jericho to find himself something to do that he was proud of even if it was hard work. He would also do whatever he could to make his mate happy. Alek was a great balance as a second mate, hardworking, protective, accepting, generous to his mate and her other mate. Lachlyn was a very warm person and was easy to love her, she was hardworking, generous, very caring even though she went through a horrible experience. All in all was a great read, steamy sex scenes, funny moments and heartwarming monents.
