Upon waking up from a cataclysmic dream state that engulfed an entire region, the author-to-be Lyan Ling tells her husband Lao Tzu about the fantastical vision that she witnessed in the depths of her consciousness. A world enclosed within gigantic walls, the ground is made up of large steps, each steps large enough to house a medieval town.
