Ma non è una cosa seria (1917-18) è una famosa commedia di Luigi Pirandello, ispirata alle sue due novelle La Signora Speranza (1902) e Non è una cosa seria (1910). Dall’opera sono stati tratti due film, nel 1921 (di Augusto Camerini) e nel 1936 (di Mario Camerini). In questa edizione il testo è stato lasciato - a parte alcuni pochi interventi filologici - rispettosamente intatto nella sua originale stesura “primonovecentesca”.
