About the Author

Kim Sarae Bean, author and illustrator of Mabel's World books, lives in the beautiful foothills of Western Maine. She graduated from college with a degree in music and has been teaching piano for over 30 years. Kim enjoys many things but especially gardening, hiking, and exploring the woods. Often her husband and sweet corgi join in her adventures. Kim has dabbled with many projects over the years including art and raising chickens. Somehow the two met up and Mabel's World was hatched!
