I loved the craziness of the first and enjoyed the "sassy-ness" of the second. This third one seems to drop a notch. Perhaps it was because Jane's enthusiasm seems to drop. The circumstances of the story are mellow compared to the first two. As I finished it, I wondered if (and hoped) it was a prelude to a much more wild and crazy installment.

Ok, so Jane and her magical dilemas are still kinda fun, but Klasky wasn´t able to recreate the atmospehere of her first novel, which I absoluteley adored! I read the second and ended disapointed and the same goes for this one! I can´t say it´s a good trilogy, it´s only a good first novel.

I loved this book and the two before it. The ending was great, just what I'd been hoping for.

I liked this book as well as the others but the ending was very abrupt.

if the networks were smart (haha) they would take all three books and turn them into to mini - series....(like they did with the starter wife) they would have three great mini-series (at 6 or 13.. depending on the budget) that you could show for 3 summers.....just saying......

This is the 3rd and final book in the series that started with "A Girl's Guide to Witchcraft." This is a satisfying (and not unexpected) end to a very fun series. I'm sad to see the last of our librarian-turned-witch but it was very nice to see the threads of story wrap up for both her and her wonderful cast of family and friends. I noticed another review suggesting this would make a great little mini-series and I totally agree!

This trilogy was hard to finish for me. It really was a good idea, I just don't think (in my lowly opinion) that it was executed well. The books had this sense about them that the author followed a checklist to writing. Klasky wrote in minute detail what the story was, she didn't let it unfold naturally. And all the books were filled with this forced sense of cramming "class" into it. From the name dropping, to information, to what should be served on menus, the opera this and that, the "arts" as a whole. It would have been different if it was introduced in a natural way, but it wasn't, and so was annoying. I'm just relieved to have finished them.

Like other readers, I fell in love with the characters in the first novel. This one seemed a bit more serious to me because of what was on the line for Jane. I enjoyed
reading this installment and will continue to follow Jane on her adventures in life and love.
