If you are searching a myriad of techniques for the eyes, then this book is for you. The book does cover simple, step-by-step outlines from basic stages of prepping your skin through the various stages of makeup application, however, it really covers a lot of techniques for eyes. I am in my 40s, and appreciate the 20-page section for Over 40s. I spent the weekend playing around with the techniques in this book and found many of the artistic makeup applications easy to achieve; find this to be true of anyone having at least intermediate knowledge of makeup application. I do not think this book to cater to beginner makeup users or women seeking every day tips. I have flagged many pages in this books, so I can say that I was easily inspired by the tricks, techniques, and trade secrets. It can be a good reference book for the ladies looking to enhance or upgrade their beauty.
