The intent of this book is to provide practical general ideas and recommendations on how to earn extra money by taking common metals to the scrap yard. The book is not written in a technical or exact science, but in layman's terminology from the experience I have encountered in my 65 years in making extra money by taking metals to the scrap yard. It also does not cover doing this as a main business or main source of income using heavy equipment and scrapping vehicles, big construction site materials, etc. The total intent is to provide a little extra income in a safe and honest way while doing your part in saving our natural resources and protecting the environment. For me it is a paying hobby which I enjoy very much. If you find no enjoyment in it, there are other ways to make a few extra dollars.
