Making Waves (a Perfect Kisses novella) based on 0 ratings. 2 reviews.
A cute novella, full of summer, surfing and love. Justine and Will had had a short relationship few years back, that had affected both of them greatly, and even though it ended badly, couldn't forget each other. Now they meet again, and the secrets Will had been keeping from her, unravel. Justine gets the break with her career, she had been looking for, but makes a mistake in the process, that puts the relationship in danger again. Will and Justine were great together, the secrets Will had been keeping from everyone had a good base, and I am glad that didn't cause angst between them. The mistake Justine makes is predictable. I'm just glad that the misgiving and anger didn't linger too long. It was a sweet, fun, and a quick read. Made me long for the hot summer days ~ Two Spoons with a teaspoon on the side
Justine needed a vacation. Six months ago her long time best friend passed away, a man she'd been falling for betrayed her, and now her job as a reporter is in danger from downsizing. Now she's in Hawaii, on vacation, visiting a friend. Justine couldn't resist writing a story about a famous surfer coming out of retirement. When she arrives at the competition, she discovers the surfer, Chase Ryder, is non other than Will Davenport, the man who'd left her six months ago. Will she give him a chance to explain or expose his double identity? This is a fun, sweet beach romance that makes me long for the sand. Great story that is well written.
