Book exchanged for an honest review~ Kate's life is filled with pain and suffering yet knows she can have a better life with Marc. Marc Trudeau has been waiting for his love to return to him. He never thought he'd find her again yet here she is. Marc is waiting for Kate's transformation to be complete. She needs closure from her past before moving forward with her life. A fresh start for Kate means new name Aimee. A trip of a lifetime was meant to be cherished by both Aimee and Marc but only ends up in disaster for them. Marc's creator Damian is cruel, evil, and selfish. Damian calls Marc a fool for love because it doesn't really exist. Damian sets his sights on Aimee but Marc doesn't know why. Why does Damian want Aimee? Can Marc and Aimee find peace? Your answers await you in Marked. This new to me author has intrigued me with their storytelling skills. The characters are flawed, honest, real, compelling, raw, and rich. The story moves from the past to the present easily. I'm definitely looking forward to the next book in the series.
