Marla May Faces Her Fears

Marla May is a timid little girl who is nervous about going to Kindergarten. She is worried that she will have no friends, or the teacher will be mean, but, above all, she is worried about the loud fire drill! Her day improves when she meets a new friend! Faced with the loud fire drill, the two friends "think of some ways to cope." At the end of the day, Marla is happy to report back to her mom: "There were lots of things I was scared about, but I met lots of people who helped me out"!
