When a horrible fight breaks out, among all of the four Babysitters Club members. Mary Anne is left by herself. While the other baby sitters club members sit with the other school friends at lunch they had. Mary Anne was left by herself. Because the baby sitters club was the friends she grew up with. She was too busy with the baby sitters club to have any other school friends. But one day at lunch, she was sitting by herself and this one new girl came up beside her and asked Mary Anne if she could sit with her. Mary Anne said yes you certainly can. They became really good friends they ended up going over each others houses and watching movies after school. But then one evening Mary Anne was babysitting and there was a big problem and nobody to go to for the problem. She solved all herself and her dad was proud of her and he quit being so over protective. Mary Anne sure does save the day and manages to get the Baby sitters club back together again. I feel that the novel Mary Anne saves the day is a wonderful story it teaches kids to make new friends. And to forgive somebody if they have done something wrong to you. I just think it is a very good book for kids to read.

I was so excited when the first of The Baby-Sitters Club Graphix book was released. Being a Baby-Sitters devotee, I was so excited that the series that got me hooked into reading series of books when I was 9 years old would get a new breath of life. I was excited that it could possibly become a series that a whole new generation of kids could fall in love with.Raina Telgemeier's work is ah-mazing. You need to check out her portfolio here. I think she did a superb job of updating the characters to give it more of a modern flair without compromising the essence of each character's personality. I think she really captured each character nicely. The only character that looked a little different in the book than in my head was Claudia. In this story, the girls of the Baby-Sitters Club are at war with each other and Mary Anne is in the middle trying play peacemaker between all the girls. I had a hard time remembering the original book, but it seemed like the girls spent whole book fighting with each other and the preteen hormones were getting a little old towards the end. I especially liked how Raina introduced Dawn and the back story of the high school relationship between Mary Anne's father and Dawn's mother.Overall:It was an excellent graphic novel. I think a lot of young girls could definitely get into the Baby-Sitters Club series through this book and that makes it worth reading and sharing!

Wow! Reading this book brought back so many memories! I was a huge Baby Sitter's Club fan when I was in elementary school. I read almost all of the books and still own them all today. Reading this book brought back so many memories for me. I think it is great that they have made one of these books into a graphic novel. It was great to read, I really enjoyed reading this again.

The baby-sitters club is a popular series. This book is about this girl Mary Anne, who is really shy in her everyday life. However, when it comes to babysitting, she has a lot to show to others. She has skills to keep everything going the way they are, and she saves the day as she being the babysitter. Her shyness does not come in her way to babysit. The words are easy and the plots are attracting. In addition, the graphics in the book add color to the story. It is recommended for children from grade 3-5.

I never actually read Babysitters Club books when I was a kid, though I remember when they were popular. I got the graphic novel adaptations for my 9 year old daughter and we've both really enjoyed them. This one focuses on Mary Anne, and her growing independence both from her friends and her father.

Mary Ann is a very shy girl. In this book, she shows that her shyness does not impede her ability to handle a crisis. Mary Ann exhibits to her father and the parents of the child that she is babysitting for that she is very trustworthy. Read this book to learn about Mary Ann's heroic day.

Another hit for Raina Telgemeier, the artist adapting Ann M. Martin's Baby-Sitters Club books to graphic novel format. I've been waiting and waiting for this book to come out and it doesn't disappoint. Of the three Graphix adaptations, I'm least familiar with the original story of this book. However, I still really enjoyed it.Can't wait for the next one!Pick this series up if you're a fan of the original Baby-Sitters Club series.
