Despite what you might think it's actually a good book.I wouldn't make it the only book you buy, but it is good for basic info on the breed.

The book has fabulous pictures and very basic information about the breed. It does not go into any specifics that are relevant to the care and raising of this type of dog. If you want a book with nice pictures, this is the one. If you want an information guidebook for Mastiffs, look for another.

This book tells you the basics of Mastiff care. It is 'no frills' but is really all you should need to decide if Mastiffs are right for you and to help in training them.
