Overview

FBI Agent Kristin Webster has spent the last eight years tracking and taking down the worst of humanity. She's seen to much to believe she could ever trust a human man, but the promise of a perfect match through the Coalition's Interstellar Brides Program has her settling into the testing chair to be matched to her alien mate. But her match isn't a male from a distant planet, but two scarred Prillon warriors on the Colony. And when warriors begin to disappear, Kristin will take matters into her own hands.

Captains Hunt and Tyran have been waiting too long for a mate to allow her to risk her life chasing evil. But their defiant little human won't listen. They are determined to tame her, claim her, keep her safe...no matter the cost.

Meet the Author

Grace Goodwin is an international bestselling author of Sci-Fi & Paranormal romance. When she was a wee little girl, she was convinced she was not an average child but was, in fact, a fairy princess. Now a bit older, her fantasies have grown to include sexually dominant men who know how to ensure a woman's pleasure. Grace believes all women should be treated like princesses, in the bedroom and out of it, and writes love stories where men know how to make their women feel pampered, protected and very well taken care of. Grace hates the snow, loves the mountains (yes, that's a problem) and wishes she could simply download the stories out of her head instead of being forced to type them out. Grace lives in the western US and is a full time writer, an avid romance reader and an admitted caffeine addict.

I can't get enough of this Colony series. You just gotta love these rough, alpha males that are just a lil bit broken. I really didn't want the story to end.

Grace Goodwin takes readers on a fantastic trip to another galaxy filled with laughter, hot men, and even spicier sex. A definite must read book. The action-adventure begins on the first page and keeps twisting and turning until the very end. I totally suggest you get a chilled bottle of wine, a comfortable chair, and keep your hot-guy waiting nearby.

Grace Goodwin: Mated to the Cyborgs (Interstellar Brides: The Colony Book 2) This is Book 2 in the Colony spinoff of the Interstellar Brides series by Grace Goodwin. I am really enjoying the author exploring a world where warriors who were captured by the enemy(The Hive), labeled a threat to their home planets and are forced into exile onto the Colony where they must make a new life for themselves. A bit broken but still warriors at heart, with little hope of a mate or seeing family again it is heartbreaking to see how these veterans are treated and also reminds me a bit of the treatment many of our veterans here have been treated. It's been six months since a bride has been sent to the colony and despite little hope and ribbing by fellow warriors, Captain Hunt Treval and his second, Captain Tyran Zakar continue to wear their neckbands which are signs they have gone through the mating testing program. To their surprise they get word that they have been matched to a mate even though the female has been matched to Zakar as a primary causing a switch in roles. Zakar is thrilled and knows that this female with a 98% match must share the same sexual tendencies he keeps tucked away from general knowledge. Back on earth Kristin is highly enjoying the dream sequence that opens this series as it is a big part of the mating process. Apparently somehow the program has picked up her secret desires for dom/sub and light BDSM tendencies. Despite her sexual preferences outside the bedroom Kristin is an assertive self assured professional women who values her independence and ability to make a difference in the world. After years as a top FBI agent tracking depraved abusive humans who have done the unspeakable to many innocents, Kristin feels it's enough and she must escape this environment. Signing up for the Interstellar Brides program was just the answer. Finding herself mated to Hunt and Zakar, Kristin is a perfect match for them sexually and as much as she is falling for them she finds their intense overprotective behavior towards her frustrating and suffocating. When events with their enemy,The Hive, turn the Colony and its inhabitants into severe danger. This is when the book turns on the action, with drama, suspense and danger that was actually thrilling and exciting making this story so much more than an erotic scifi romance/adventure. Even with the heart pounding, page turning excitement this book is full of, we are of course treated to a full 5 of erotic love scenes. I particularly thought it was relevant to address how this threesome has to balance their protective instincts with giving their mate the freedom needed to use professional skills to maintain being a contributing member of this new world in her new life. An awesome addition to the series, don't miss this wild exciting hot ride.

Grace Goodwin's "Mated to the Cyborgs" is the second tale in the Interstellar Brides, The Colony series. I love this author! You can read this as a standalone but I will definitely go back and read #1 and the related series. Tyran and Hunt are perfect dark and light complements. I like that Kristin is such a strong leading lady. Can't wait to read more Grace Goodwin!

First of all let's start with saying yes this book is part of a series however, it can most definitely be read on its own. This steamy fiction is full of action, humor and not to forget two very sexy, dominant & protective males My overall impression of the book is that it's well written, sexy and well thought out. It's an elaborate story without being too complex for new reader or repetitive for people who read the previous books. I really like that the book is written at the first person, but not always form the same characters. This give you a chance to connect with Kirstin, Tyran & Hunt and understand the relationship dynamic. I appreciate that Kristen might be submissive in the bedroom, but she is also a strong willed woman. I've bought this book on am***.ca. I'm also part of the author's review team which provided me early access to the book.
