This is book # 2, in the Colorado Ice series. This book can be read as a standalone novel. To avoid spoilers, and have a better understanding of the characters, I recommend reading this series in order. Olivia & Ben had history of a hot night together. When they see one another again, she has a whole other future in mind. She tries to stay away, but the pull between them is stronger. Ben is so happy to see Olivia again. He cannot stop the heat between them anymore than she can. There are so many things that could pull them apart, and neither is ready to let go. This was a sweetly hot story. I like this series and these characters are a lot of fun to read. This book was hot with bit of a capital H. Great addition to the series, and some of our fave characters from the previous book in here also. I cannot wait to read the next story. ***This copy was given in exchange of an honest review only.

I loved this story by Jennifer Snow! I'm really enjoying this series! Ben Westmore had everything at stake when he finds out that he's married and to a woman that he doesn't even remember let alone the wedding ceremony itself. How the heck did that even happen? Ending this sham of a marriage is the main priority in his life after taking his team to the playoffs and hopefully winning the Stanley Cup. He didn't need the added stress in his life right now. Olivia Davis wanted marriage and children, but right now she didn't have a man in her life and her eggs weren't getting any younger so seeing a fertility specialist was her best option. When she meets her client's soon-to-be ex-husband she doesn't expect there to be an attraction, but there is and he is just the type of guy she had sworn off years ago. What made him any different from any other guy? She just needed to get through her client's divorce and move on, but her heart had other ideas. I was given an ARC from the author/publisher. All conclusions are mine and mine alone.

There is nothing better than your team making the playoffs, when your team is the 2016/17 Colorado Avalanche who didn’t even make the playoffs, you find solace in a fictionalized version of the team that are very much in Stanley Cup contention. Such is the case with Jennifer Snow’s latest Colorado Ice novel, Maybe This Love. Ben Westmore plays for the fictionalized Colorado Avalanche who are definitely in contention for the Stanley Cup. When he suddenly finds himself married after a terrible New Year’s Eve, those Cup dreams are in danger. Olivia Davis is the lawyer hired by his soon to be ex-wife and definitely not a sports fan. Ben sets out to change her mind when it comes to hockey players. Not surprisingly, once she gets to know Ben, Olivia becomes a hockey fan and so much more. The interplay between these two is fun and engaging. Ben is definitely not what he seems on paper and Olivia certainly finds that out in spades. There are definitely bumps in the road, but worth it to get the chance to see my team in contention once again. If only the actual team were the same. I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this novel.

Another sexy, hockey playing Westmore knocks our socks off in the next book in Jennifer Snow's Colorado Ice series! This family is fun, down-to-earth and a pleasure to spend time with. The connection between Ben and Olivia was sweet ... it might not have enthralled me quite as much as Jackson's story did previously, but was a fast paced joy to read! Looking forward to Asher's story! Colorado Avalanche captain Ben Westmore's partying has finally caught up to him! His love 'em and leave 'em, every night is a party attitude has kept him company for years, but after a night he doesn't remember in Vegas comes back to haunt him, he decides to lay low for awhile ... and get it taken care of FAST! Attorney Olivia Davis has decided to move forward with her goal of having a family even if she is still single. The last thing she needs is a woman loving playboy trying out his smooth moves on her! She has to admit though ... the guy she sees is front of her is so not what she expected! He's kind, generous, loving to his family ... how can she resist him??

Ben is a professional hockey player, who has skills on and off the ice. He knows he can have any woman he wants and quite often he takes advantages of it. When he suddenly hears what he had done on New year’s Eve, he’s in big trouble and needs a lawyer to take care of the situation. He’s not a big drinker, but a moment from his past hit him hard and drunken night out led to a mistake he never meant to make. Olivia is a divorce attorney for professional athletes and she’s worked hard to get where she’s now. Concentrating on work didn’t leave time for her personal life, but being in her 30-s, she longs for a family, especially because she doesn’t have any family members herself. When Ben and Olivia meet there’s instant chemistry, but considering the circumstances, they just can’t be together at the time. Fate on the other hand has other plans and they start to bump into each other and as they spend more time in each other’s present, feelings are starting to develop. It was my first book by Jennifer Snow and even though it’s the second book in the series it can be read as a standalone. I really enjoyed this book and I definitely want to read about the other Westmore brothers. It’s a well written book that makes you devour this sweet romance. It has a great storyline, characters and romance. I loved seeing both main characters open up to each other and working through their issues towards the ir happily ever after. I’m really happy I decided to read this book, because I found a new author whose work I enjoy.

This was my first Jennifer Snow book and it won't be my last. I really like her style! Olivia & Ben had fantastic chemistry. This was a really fun story with a nice bit of originality in the storyline that set it apart from other romance books. I enjoyed this story very much and look forward to the next book in the series.

maybe this love is the second novel in the colorado ice series, and focuses on older brother ben westmore. he is a total dreamboat. he's kind and generous. he loves his mom and sister. he adores his baby niece. he's close to his brothers. and he's also a super hot professional hockey player. he meets olivia davis under less than desirable circumstances, however, because she is representing the wife he forgot he married on a drunken new year's eve in las vegas. olivia has a reputation in sports circles as the woman who represents the scorned wives of professional athletes. and she's ready to think the worst of ben. except there's that sizzle of attraction between them from the start. and her client's reasons for delaying a divorce and settlement start to look fishy. and maybe she can't be objective about ben westmore. ben never acts like he's married. he only interacts with his alleged wife maybe once in the whole story. and he is interested in olivia. even as he realizes that this attraction is going to make his life complicated fate seems to conspire to put them together. olivia has a lot going on in her life too. she's decided that she's waited long enough to start a family. so she's doing in vitro treatments to see if she can have the baby she's always wanted. i will be honest, this part of the story was a challenge for me. i'm not usually a fan of romances where the main character is pregnant with someone else's kid. it's definitely a matter of personal preference, but it's just something i tend to go out of my way to avoid. it turns out having one of the main characters actively trying to get pregnant while starting a relationship with someone else still feels icky to me. i think the other thing that made this challenging was that i have my own experience with ivf and i don't think i really enjoy reading about other people's ivf journeys. but when you take all the ivf stuff out of the picture, and really focus on ben and how dreamy he is. and really just think about how perfect those westmore boys are in general, all is good. **maybe this love will publish on may 30, 2017. i received an advance reader copy courtesy of netgalley/grand central publishing (forever) in exchange for my honest review.

Ben Westmore might be the MVP Captain of the playoff bound Colorado Avalanche but his toughest opponent of the season isn't the muscle bound goalie on the other team, it's the lawyer who represents the woman he doesn't remember marrying while he was drunk as a skunk on New Year's Eve. Olivia Davis is a highly competent top notch divorce attorney representing soon-to-be-former wives of professional athletes but her rapidly growing attraction to her clients' husband sets the stage for a delightfully entertaining and sinfully sexy enemies to lovers battle of wills. The more Olivia pushes Ben away the more determined he is to prove to her that he's more than just a one night stand and I found myself equally charmed by these two stubborn individuals as they try to learn from the mistakes in their past so that they can see their way to a future together. Who knew that along the way to their happily ever after I would fall in love with hockey as well? This is a terrific series and I'm looking forward to reading Asher Westmore's story sometime very soon. I read a complimentary copy of this book through NetGalley and all opinions expressed in my voluntary review are completely my own.

Ben Westmore had love once and he lost it, and it damn near killed him, so from that point on he decided to never let it back into his life again. The thing with love is though, no matter how hard you try to dismiss it, it always finds a way in... and it knows no bounds. When Ben finds himself stuck in an sticky marital matter, he asks his lawyer to remedy the situation quickly so it doesn't interfere with the playoffs, but when he finds himself sitting across the table from his wife's beautiful attorney Olivia Davis he can't help but want things to drag out just a bit longer, so he can spend a few more moments with her! He knows associating with her is wrong on so many levels, but he just can't help himself, there is just something about her that draws him in... problem is she wants nothing to do with the playboy hockey player! After growing up without any real family to speak of Olivia Davis is ready to change that by having a family of her own, even if it means starting it on her own. Her biological clock is ticking away, and there isn't a man in her life, nor has there been for some time now, so she decides to take matters into her own hands. But shortly after getting her fertility treatments underway she meets someone, a sexy hockey playing someone, and they have some serious chemistry, but she isn't so sure he is ready for the same things, so she tries to give him the easy out... but he doesn't take it. She soon starts seeing this thing with him leading to what she has been longing for, but then again can she really trust the well known playboy with her heart? I have to say Ben's story was just as amazing as the first two installments in this series, and I really enjoyed my time with him and Olivia. It was evident from the start that they were perfect for each other,.. even if it took them a little time to come around to the idea! Ben was a force to be reckoned with, and I think Olivia made the perfect woman for the job, she was able to handle everything he dished out, and give it right back, when the moment called for it. I also appreciated getting little updates on other characters from previous installments too, Ms. Snow blended it all together seamlessly without without taking anything away from the main story. Each book in this series is very well written and comes equipped with a sexy alpha that will lure you in by chapter one, charm his way into your heart by chapter two and as your near the end you'll be a goner!! Ms. Snow's Colorado Ice series is a CAN'T MISS series!! I highly recommend it, each installment is sure to satisfy all of your reading needs, and then some!

3.5 Stars! Maybe This Love is told from dual points of view and follows the story of Ben and Olivia. Ben is at the top of his game and enjoying the good life. However when a night in Vegas, doesn’t quite stay in Vegas, Ben finds himself in need of a lawyer ASAP. So, while his personal life is getting sorted out, Ben only has one thing to do: Lie low and keep his head in the game. But, when Ben meets Olivia, that will prove to be easier said than done….Olivia has her eyes on the prize. Her focus in on her exciting career and starting a family of her own. She’s at a point in her life where distractions are not welcome. So, when Ben tries to pursue Olivia, the poor guy doesn’t stand a chance. He’s got the worst reputation and Olivia isn’t falling for his game. However, the more time Olivia spends with Ben, the more she starts to realize that everything isn’t what it seems. Will Olivia be willing to take a chance on Ben? Has Ben truly changed his ways? There is only one way to find out…. Maybe This Love is a fun and entertaining read. This is the type of book that you can easily spend the afternoon getting lost in. The characters are easy to connect with and have an easy banter. I enjoyed the push and pull between Olivia and Ben was excited to see how their story would unfold. Maybe This Love had the perfect balance of sweet romance, steamy moments and a little bit of drama along the way. Overall, I thought this book was a pretty solid read. This is my first book by this author and I look forward to checking out more from her in the future.

RATING 4.5 STARS Maybe This Love is book two in the Colorado Ice series by Jennifer Snow. Wow, I loved this one. This is Ben Westmore’s story. We know Ben as the player of the Westmore family. We find out, though, in this book, that there is so much more to Ben, and I can’t wait to tell you about it. Ben Westmore is a professional hockey player for the NHL. He is Captain of his team, the Colorado Avalanche and is MVP in the league that season. We know Ben as a player. With his good looks and celebrity status, he can have any woman he wants and he takes advantage of that fact. Any woman he is with knows in advance that he does not want anything more than a night of fun. That he is not the least bit interested in a relationship. Ben is not a drinker. He takes care of his body. But four months ago, New Years Eve, things got out of hand. His memory of that night is pretty murky. Ben has taken his team to the playoffs twice before. And they have made it again this year. He has a reputation for choking under pressure in both the previous playoffs. This year is the one, the year he will take his team all the way to the Stanley Cup. Right when he should be concentrating on nothing else but training, though, he’s informed of some surprising news related to that crazy night four months ago. Olivia Davis has spent all of her adult life concentrating on her career and she is very successful. But she’s also alone. She wants a family but doesn’t see it happening in the natural way so she has been considering other methods of getting pregnant. The day Ben Westmore came into her office, it was like a punch to the gut. The electricity was crazy between them. She knows full well of his reputation. It must just be her hormones reacting. Ben can’t get Olivia off his mind. To see her socially would be inappropriate in so many ways. But he can’t stop thinking about her. He helped to orchestrate a couple of encounters and all it did was make their attraction stronger instead of getting her out of his system. He needs to concentrate on nothing but the playoffs but all that is in his head is Olivia. These two were just so fantastic together. It just took them awhile to figure it out. I loved their chemistry. Olivia learns that there is so much more to Ben than his reputation. He opens himself to her in ways he never has with anyone else. Both of them have walls built around their hearts but those walls slowly fall away. Can they risk getting hurt? Can they let themselves fall in love? “I can’t get enough of you, Olivia. You make me crazy for you…for your body…your mind…your heart…” I loved this book right from the start. I didn’t think I would love Ben as much as I did from previously meeting him in the earlier books. I really, really, did, though! Olivia was so guarded. I loved seeing the way Ben wore her down. It was so adorable. I am in love with this series and the Westmore family. I love how close they are. Jennifer Snow, you’ve done it again with this one. It’s amazing. The next book in the series will be Maybe This Summer. If you haven’t read any of the series yet, I encourage you to start at the beginning and meet the Westmores in Maybe This Kiss. I hope you love them as much as I do.

4.5 of 5 Stars Jennifer Snow’s MAYBE THIS LOVE is an excellent addition to the Colorado Ice series. Colorado Avalanche Captain, Ben Westmore, ends up needing a lawyer after a weekend in Vegas. He finds himself attracted to the opposing counsel, Olivia Davis. This contemporary sports romance is suitable for adult audiences. We met both Ben and Olivia in book one, MAYBE THIS TIME. Ben is Jackson’s brother, and Olivia was Abby’s lawyer. I found how the two met amusing. They both were hurt in previous relationships and are leery of commitment. I like Ben. I felt bad for what happened to him with Janelle. I can see how it would have messed with him to make the stupid mistake that he made. It doesn’t help that all this happens when his team is making a run for the cup, and he has been criticized for choking in previous playoffs. There is a lot of pressure of him. He has an amazing family. Olivia is a great character. She is a successful lawyer, but she lacks confidence socially. Her parents died when she was young, and she longs for a family. I enjoyed the plot. The story was believable and well laid out. I like how Ben was adaptable on their dates. He is very creative and thoughtful. I also, appreciated how Ben handles things with Brandon. I love that Olivia gets along great with Ben’s family. There are a lot of funny scenes. I especially found the episode with the police officer amusing. MAYBE THIS LOVE had a great ending. I’m looking forward to Owen’s story in the next book of the series, MAYBE THIS SUMMER. I voluntarily reviewed an advance reader copy of this book.

I LOVE THIS SERIES!!! Jennifer hit this one out of the park! Into the net? Insert-awesome-sports-metaphor-here. Olivia and Ben met almost as soon as the book began, and I love when that happens. Their, shall we say, unique platonic relationship was certainly put to the test under the strains of their attraction, and Jennifer wrote this just beautifully. I was eagerly turning the pages to see how these two would finally get together! What I love the most about Jennifer's books, this one absolutely included, is she really writes smart characters. I could actually envision Olivia doing the things she did and Ben saying things he did. Olivia's own unique personal "quest" was one that I've never read in a romance novel before, and again, I was GLUED to the pages to see where that went as well. If you like a smart, emotional, pulls-you-in-and-won't-let-go-until-the-last-page contemporary romance, THIS IS YOUR BOOK!!! It's another reminder of why Jennifer is, hands-down, one of my all-time favorite authors! (I received a copy of this book in consideration of an honest review)

"Maybe this Love" is written by Jennifer Snow, and it is the 2nd book in her Colorado Ice series. It can be read as a stand-alone book. It features Ben Westmore and Olivia Davis. I've read a lot of romance books over the years, but I found the premise of this book a little different. It's what caught my eye. Ben Westmore is a professional NHL player. He's the MVP, actually. Unfortunately, what happens in Vegas did not stay in Vegas. Ben very rarely gets drunk. But he found out his ex-girlfriend got engaged, so it drove him to drink one night. The problem is, he ended up getting married to someone he doesn't remember. Enter Olivia Davis. She's a successful divorce lawyer, who is representing Ben's soon to be ex-wife. Olivia is in her mid-30s. She's at a point in her life now where she wants kids, and it seems no matter where she goes, she runs into Ben. She realizes Ben is a good guy. Always caring and loving to everyone he knows. She likes him. It's hard for her to represent her client now. So will it become a conflict of interest for Olivia to represent Ben's soon to be ex-wife? What does Ben think when Olivia is trying to get pregnant by in vitro fertilization? Can Ben stay focused on the playoffs? Will he be able to bring a championship back home? "Maybe this Love" is a wonderful story! I couldn't get enough of it, and I actually read it in 1 day! Olivia and Ben just fit. They supported each other, and of course, their chemistry was off the charts HOT! Really looking forward to reading the rest of this series!

For a person who doesn't normally gravitate towards sports, I seem to keep falling in love with stories about them. There are only a handful of authors able to get me to fall hard and Jennifer Snow is one of them. She puts the heart into a heartless sport with Maybe This Love and brightens up a male dominated world with a bit of girl power. Olivia and Ben are classic romantic comedy with a modern day twist.
