Nancy Lou Deane has travelled widely, living in Australia, UK and Trinidad. Writing adventure stories for children began when she lived on Dartmoor in Devon UK and she became fascinated by the moor's legendary ghosts and spooks. Currently she is living in Hampshire in UK and writing every day is the life she now enjoys.
