This book walks you through her experience with molestation, physical abuse, and a pregnancy at 12. The book begins when Michelle leaves her birth country of Jamaica with her family and end up in the foster care system. Michelle has to find the strength and courage to transform from a victim of molestation, abuse, rape, and teen pregnancies to survivor.
