Middleman by Jayne Rylon

I don't kneel for any man. Not anymore.
I had the perfect dominant boyfriend. Then Cortez left me to save the world.
After two and a half years lost drowning my misery in bad decisions, one man changed everything.
Rogan is the perfect submissive, who puts me back in control of both him and my life.
Until Cortez comes home.
Who am I? Cortez's bottom or Rogan's top?
Maybe I'm both.
Maybe I was made to be their middleman.

Unbelievably good it's been a while since I have been pulled into a book and couldn't stop reading.

Wow. I loved this book. Not just for the hotness of having three guys together but the whole story behind it was beautiful. The author does a great job of showing not only the struggle Kaden goes through with his unresolved feelings toward Cortez and his burgeoning feelings for Rogan but also his torment when Cortez returns and stirs up old wounds. I absolutely loved all three characters and could have kept reading about them.

This book was so good!!! I've never read a M/M/M before but was impressed. I've read almost all of Jayne's books and I really liked this one. You could really feel the emotions of the characters through the entire book and it was so powerful with just the starring men! And I really liked the symbolism of the cover in the novel itself. When I realized that, I thought what a great way to tie that in!! 5 stars!!

m/m/m You can always count on Jayne Rylon for a smoking hot story and this is no different. The problems come in when they are out of bed. I felt the angst and pain but I think forgiveness came too fast. Not the authors best but overall a steamy read and well worth it.

A new and exciting story from Jayne Rylon. Middleman is a stand alone novel and is a MMM story so be open minded and prepared for an amazing journey. I was excited to read this story and I was blown away by the writing. Middleman is told in a three POV's Kaden, Cortez, and Rogan which is exactly how I think this book needed to be read and due to the level of writing I had no issues whatsoever following the story at all. This book is smoking hot and at times an emotional read. There is angst, drama, sadness, happiness and above all strength; at times my heart was pounding as I wondered if these three strong individuals would be able to make it work. Kaden, Cortez, and Rogan are all so different but they blend well together and draw on each other for strength. Their scenes are scorching and the level of heat intense. I loved this book from start to finish. Take a chance and read this one after all Love is Love. I dare you....

I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review. This book has more mood swings and excitement than a woman on her cycle especially for not a having a woman involved. It's wonderful and daring. Half the time you don't know if Kaden the main lead character is done being crushed or if he's actually ok to really be built up. Jayne is nothing but an artist.

Review WOW,WOW,WOW!!!! Loved all three guys, separately and of course together. But Kaden, he stole my heart. He was broken, and ughh i wanted him to have it all, i wished that for all them, but him, not sure what it was about him, I just wanted to hug and love on him. This was sad at times, SEXY! , but also love. And once everything fell together, it was perfection. .The twist and turns, wheww, once you start you'll never put it down. Fantastic !!!! Loved the peek forward. No one does it better... OUTSTANDING

Middleman is my first all male romance and it's a beautiful love story full of emotion. It kills Cortez inside when he has to leave Kaden, the man he has come to love so much. Kaden is devastated by Cortez's seemingly heartless dismissal of everything they shared and it sends him spiraling. Then he meets Rogan, the one man who heals him and makes him happy again, only to have Cortez show up like a ghost from the past. These characters are all likable and I felt for each one of them. Jayne Rylon is a great writer and expertly conveys the wide range of emotions these characters experience as they try to put their lives back together in a way that works for all three. Middleman is an engrossing romance and definitely worth reading. I voluntarily reviewed an advance reader copy of this book.

I voluntarily reviewed an Advanced Reader copy of this book. This is Jayne’s first MMM book and I must say she did a fantastic job! In every book Jayne writes there is an underlying message of love and acceptance. Each character in Middleman had to go through some heavy emotional awakenings to accept themselves for who they really are. This story is told in alternating points of views which I must say I really enjoyed. I like hearing the thoughts of each character as it gives me an idea of why that person is doing or saying something. We meet Cortez and Kaden on their last day together before Cortez is sent off on a top secret mission. They had the perfect relationship, Kaden being the perfect sub to Cortez’s perfect Top. Both Kaden and Cortez are devastated when he leaves but for different reasons. Kaden loses himself in unhealthy things like alcohol, men and drugs not caring what really happens because he knows he’s lost the only man he’s ever loved. He’s promised himself he’ll never be Topped by another man so his one night stands are submissive men. We meet the very submissive Rogan when he commissions Kaden for a painting. Although the painting does not working out the way they had hoped they develop a quick friendship that leads to more. Just as Kaden and Rogan and solidifying their relationship Cortez comes back into their lives, unbeknownst to them, when they need him the most. Rogan develops a friendship Cortez and since Kaden already had past with Cortez they fall into an easy friendship and the sexual tension starts to emerge shortly after that. As I mentioned earlier, the characters go through some major character development in this book and I love that there is an epilogue a year after the final chapter so we can check in and see what is happening. I would absolutely recommend this book to anyone that loves a great love story, especially one that includes 3 men. There are steamy sex scenes, funny scenes, emotional scenes and just gut-wrenching stories told from the characters point of view. I really enjoyed this book. Keep them coming please Jayne!!

Review: I love Jane Rylon and read everything she writes, so this was no exception. That being said M/M/M is not usually my thing, I like a female presence in the mix, but because I know how good a writer she is I went outside my preferences. The story was really good! Emotional and sexy all at the same time. The love that evolves between the three was very dramatic to read and how they deal with the obstacles that they overcome to get to their HEA. This is a stand alone title, so you can read it without worrying about book order. It is told in alternating points-of-view. Wonderfully written romance with a great mix of elements! 4Stars *I voluntarily read an advance reader copy of this book provided by the Author.*

This book is hot, hot, hot!! Though this book brings the heat it also brings the feels. You can feel emotions pouring off these characters. You can also feel the deep connections between the three of them. This has mm scenes and mmm scenes. I recommend this book of you're a fan of that genre of romance because this book packs a punch. Kaden had his heart broke and has finally found a man to move on with, but what happens when the one who broke him returns? I thought the last chapter had the perfect touch to end this book on because it sums up Kaden, Rogan, and Cortez.

When Kaden gets his heart broken by Cortez, he flounders for years with drugs, alcohol, and sex before finally starting to put himself back together. When Rogan comes to commission a painting from Kaden as a gift to his boyfriend, the attraction for both is instant. Through an unfortunate event at Rogan's house, Kaden is able to help Rogan through a difficult time, bringing the two of them closer together. Just when you thought things were going to smooth out... Cortez comes back. I did like the story, but it left me wanting more. I think the problem writing a book with 3 main characters is that they all aren't developed as fully unless the book gets really long. I really wanted more in depth on Rogan and and Cortez specifically.

**Received ARC for a fair and honest review** Middleman is a standalone book, no cliffhangers and it does have a HEA. I rate this book at 5 stars. If you don't like MMM then this book isn't for you. If you are open minded, this book is a hot, steamy, fantastic read that you will have a hard time putting down. Kaden thought he'd found the love of his life Cortez until that love up and left for his job without looking back. Kaden was devastated and used booze, drugs and a plethora of one night stands to cope with his pain. But they are never more than one night stands because Kaden isn't willing to risk another heartbreak. Rogan walks into Kaden's studio to commission him to paint a picture for his partner of five years. Kaden and Rogan are at his beach house and Rogan is positioned so that Kaden can work on the piece when they hear voices and in walks Ronaldo with his lover. Rogan is devastated. I really enjoyed the characters in the story, minus Ronaldo of course. Even Cortez redeemed himself, especially with all the pain and agony he suffered to get back to his life. As I was reading I was thinking to myself, this is supposed to be a MMM, but it's just a MM, and as the book went on I didn't think it would be able to pick up the third M and continue smoothly, but I was wrong. I enjoyed the way the author re-integrated the third male. I also enjoyed the storyline, it was definitely a new one for me. I blazed through this book, not that I'm surprised since I've read almost everything the author's written. Be interesting to see if this will be the start to a series or not. I would definitely read the next book if it was!! Happy Reading!!

Sinfully Delicious! - Wow. These guys are drool-worthy! The characters are well developed and each can hold their own. I love this book! Thanks again, Jayne, for another awesome menage story. I definitely will be reading this book again, and again, and again...and well, you get this gist.

***4 ‘Always Were’ Stars*** I think saying that Middleman will incinerate your panties is not only an understatement, but an unnecessary one given THAT cover. But as with most things, one should never judge anything by its surface appearance, because while this book is smexy as all get. It is also filled with a lot of heart as these three men work through their own demons while fighting for what could be their ultimate happily ever after. I really liked Kaden, Cortez and Rogan, but I have to admit that Rogan was my favorite of the three. He reminded me of a Chimera ~ what you saw on the outside hid the truth of who he was on the inside and yet the two sides blended so well together. His complex nature was a huge draw and I was simply charmed by him and his strength. Cortez was all kinds of alpha male goodness and had me wanting to bend to his will, but it was his heart and his acknowledgement of what it wanted, even if he couldn’t have it, that won me over. Kaden, of the three, was the one that had me flip flopping the most. I loved the man he evolved into throughout the book, but his hang up over Cortez and how he used it to isolate himself rubbed me the wrong way, even though I understood where he was coming from. The journey that Kaden, Rogan and Cortez travel to get to their HEA’s was an interesting, yet enjoyable one. What I found most interesting, and intriguing, was how often all three of them were together throughout the story regardless of what was going on. Each of them are dealing with their own issues and I loved how they ended up helping each other work through them and heal so they could move forward. While I haven’t read all of Jayne Rylon’s books, I have read a decent cross section, but Middleman is only my second menage read by her and I thoroughly enjoyed it. While there were some parts that dragged for me, which I will say is more of a ‘it’s not you, it’s me’ situation, I was totally invested in getting to know Rogan, Kaden and Cortez and seeing how their HEA came to be. The various twists and turns were done well and I liked how they all ended up working out in the end. ~ Copy provided by the author & voluntarily reviewed ~

Hot and complex - a great story! Wow! I'm not sure I have the right words to describe this book. I've read several books by Jayne Rylon – her Power Tools menage series is a favorite – but I think this is her first M/M/M story. The book is written in first person POV, and each of the three main characters gets to tell their part of the story, but the main character is really Kaden. From the book's synopsis/blurb we know that Kaden was Cortez's submissive until Cortez left him, and that Kaden then becomes dominant over Rogan. Sounds kind of simple, right? Wrong! This story turns out to be pretty wonderfully complex and kept me thoroughly engrossed until the end. Kaden is completely broken after Cortez leaves. When Rogan hires him to paint an intimate portrait for his boyfriend there's a spark of attraction that neither one will act on. Rogan won't because he's in a relationship and won't cheat, Kaden won't because he will never do another relationship; he only does one-offs. I love stories with emotionally complex characters, especially when the writing is so good that my emotions are fully engaged. Jayne Rylon's writing made me like I was a part of the story – like an eye witness of sorts. There were parts of this book that made me so sad but I trusted Ms. Rylon to get these three guys their HEA and she certainly did that. There's no cliffhanger to this story; in fact, the last chapter takes place one year later – which might be called an epilogue by some authors (something I dearly love). But I felt so invested in these characters that I'd really like to read more about them. A short sequel would be wonderful, Ms. Rylon. An advanced copy of this book was provided to me but my review was voluntary and not influenced by the author. This review will be posted to Xtreme-Delusions dot com on June 1, 2017.
