Overview

Can a single mom with trust issues and a wrung-out cop who has lost faith in himself and God, find love and learn to trust their lives to God's safekeeping?

Leaving an abusive boyfriend endangers Carrie Lillibridge and her infant son. She is a new Christian and still unsure if God truly hears her pleas for protection. Aaron Black isn't exactly what she prayed for--but apparently he's the answer.

The last thing Aaron needs in his life is a woman in trouble. Against his better judgment, he appoints himself protector to Carrie and her baby. The only thing he's getting out of the deal is a bellyful of angst and the ponytail holders that keep slipping from her red-gold hair. The little spitfire is testing him to the point he feels the need to start talking to the Almighty again.

Will Aaron and Carrie trust God and accept the plan He has for their lives?

About the Author

Anita became an avid reader the day she discovered the adventures of four little puppies tucked inside a children’s book. As a teen, she rewrote the television episodes of her favorite shows. She filled notebooks with what is now called ‘fan fiction’. Her stories had more to do with what the heroine wore than with plot.

Many years later Anita decided it was time to put the stories in her head on paper. She attended a workshop advertised by the local library and discovered she enjoyed creating characters and coming up with plots that made their lives difficult. Anita always gives her heroes and heroines a happy ending. They are eternally grateful.
