Loved this book. Great read. Filled with emotions!

Check out the full review at Kritters Ramblings I have been a fan of Jane Porter for a long time, so when I found out that there was blacklist books that I hadn't read I got so excited. I was even more excited to find a holiday themed book that I could read for December. I say all of this because I didn't love this book at all. From the beginning I knew this was book two in a series, but with most romance series each book is self contained. I felt as though throughout the whole book I was missing out on a storyline or something and I didn't love it.

Sadie has loved Rory for years. At his last bull riding advent he got badly hurt. She went to the hospital but he made her leave. Sadie has decided to forget him but now he is back home. Will they give themselves a chance? Well written story with strong and believable characters. I couldn't put it down. joy943

This is an amazing Christmas love story. I enjoyed reading every page of the book, although it is emotionally, heartbreaking story about surviving but not really living. And that is the story about Rory a bull rider and mystery girl Sadie who happens to be from his hometown. After Rory's accident and Sadies lost, she is determined to turn a new page in her life but destiny has its way and sends Rory back in her life. I like both Rory and Sadie their story is heartbreaking, funny, full of passion, seduction, and grief. I loved and enjoyed reading every page of this amazing book. I volunteered to review an ARC of this book for Netgelly

Miracle on Chance Avenue (Love on Chance Avenue Book 2) by Jane Porter This is Rory Douglas and Sadie Mann’s story. Oh my goodness! Author Jane Porter outdid herself with this book. I loved Rory and Sadie’s story! Rory and Sadie’s characters were so much fun. I felt a connection to them from the beginning to the end of the story. I wish they were real people. Rory and Sadie would be a neat couple to meet. This story was a beautiful, emotional, passionate, and a heartwarming romance. Their story will stick with me for awhile. Rory and Sadie’s story is a must read! I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.

Let me begin my saying if you have never read any his of the books based in this wonderful fictional town, what are you waiting on? Now on to this book that I personally have been waiting on for quite a while now. I just was not sure which of the authors was going to tell me his story... and I sure did not realize that Rory's story would be so much full of life and even pain that is in there. It explain so much that I had wondered. (Yes I am what many would call a Tuligan) and I have adopted Marietta as my hometown. Jane Porter is the perfect author to give us this story for so many reasons. Least of which she explains on the opening page of the book in her dedication to the readers. WoW she understands...she truly understand how much Marietta means to use the readers. Now...back to Rory and Sadie's story. Rory Douglas is from Marietta but left as soon as he could chasing demons from his past via the rodeo. Sadie Mann chased demons her own way and I think folks really didn't realize it at all. She followed Rory from rodeo to rodeo not quite a buckle bunny but not a friend either. Wanting more but to afraid to ask for it. He say her there but not there.... As life in the rodeo goes it is a hard life and Rory was in the rodeo for a long time. He came back to Marietta to rest and look at some property. Little did he know but his rodeo angel happen to live in town. This is one of those books that touched me long and hard. It had the right amount of humor * yep there was some in it) and pain as well. There were times I simply sat and shook my head at both characters, and always continued reading more and more. This is a book that I will read more than once and i cried several times while reading it. The author, Jane Porter knows her readers and she writes for us. It's like she sits beside us and listens in as we talk and say what we want to see in characters and places in this fictional town. I invite you to explore this town. Get lost in it's countryside or visit's Sage's Chocolate shop... head up to Copper Mountain for a hike, or maybe just maybe take a short ride on horseback with a cowboy. You will not be disappointed .

Miracle on Chance Avenue is the second book in the Love on Chance Avenue series. Sadie decides it's time to be a mom. But she can't have the father be the man she wants so she choose to use a donor. Rory has been bull riding for years, but after an injury, he decides it is time to buy some property and move on. He has seen Sadie at his events, but never knew who she was. When he meets up with her in Marietta, he is determined to get to know her. When Sadie confesses her plans, Rory has his own ideas of how that should go. Will they both get what they want? I loved this story. I consider this a must-read book!

4.5 Stars! I never pass up an opportunity to read a book by Jane Porter. Her stories are replete with emotion, three-dimensional characters, and an engaging plot. Miracle on Chance Avenue is the second book from her Love on Chance series, and it can be totally enjoyed as a standalone. In addition, the cover is quite captivating. Former flight attendant Sadie Mann has been in love with rodeo star Rory Douglas since she was thirteen. Due to her flight schedule, she was able to follow him on the circuit from time to time, but never had the courage to approach him personally. However, their eyes did meet and Rory always wondered about her. When Rory returned to Marietta for a business transaction, he and Sadie began to know each other. In fact, they became more than friends. Their relationship is a bit stormy, but they end up making it work. Sadie's support enables Rory deal with his tragic past and finally move on with his life. I really enjoyed this sweet and sexy story. Ms. Porter's writing style continues to be effortless and easy to understand. Her meaningful and sincere descriptions of the holiday festivities in the small town of Marietta, make you want to be there in person. Sadie and Rory are perfect together and I felt their connection immediately. If you are in the mood for an emotional and entertaining romance, check out this magical holiday read. Rory Douglas has coped with the loss of his family by riding bulls. Rarely returning home to Maritta Montana he finally comes face to face with the woman who has been showing up at his events all over the country. Sadie Mann has been interested in Rory since the day he dropped his sister McKenna off for her birthday sleep over. With Rory hurt and in town for Christmas can the two build a connection or will the past come back to haunt threm? I absolutely loved this book. The characters qualites were so real and relatable. It was the perfect blend of love and loss for me to just fall in love with the story. It’s definitely one i will read over and over again.

Simply Beautiful! If you are looking for a Holiday story that will make you laugh...and cry...look no further. This is a wonderful story of two people who have been connected for so long finally finding each other. It is a story of one, whose life is so full of tragedy, he didn't care about his life and took chances so he didn't have to feel or remember the past. It's about the woman who has loved him for more than 20 years, whose heart ached for the tragedy he and his family faced, and her connection to it. The woman who loved him, despite not having spoken a word to him. She was his Angel, despite never having spoken to her. And, though he doesn't realize it at the time, of course she would be from Marietta, the one place that he loves, but hates returning to because of the memories and how much the people really do care. This is the perfect story for Christmas. It is coming home, finally facing the past, and realizing that it is time to embrace life and the future. This is such a well-written and emotional story that will stay with you long after you read the last word. **I received a copy from the publisher via NetGalley. My opinions are my own and freely given.

Miracle on Chance Avenue by Jane Porter was one of those books you just read in one sitting. It´s heartwarming, sweet, and just so very well written that you can´t put the book down. We are back in the fictional town of Marietta and it´s close to Christmas. If you like Marietta at Christmas time you will enjoy joying our main characters Rory Douglas and Sadie Mann on a stroll down memory lane. Not everything is sweet and lovely, but they might just get a chance at love.

I absolutely LOVED this story. It had everything I look for in a romance, all the emotions from laughter to tears working its way to a HEA! This is Rory and Sadie's story. I love how their paths had crossed many times, without them ever truly meeting in person. This was the perfect read, this book kept me company, just when I needed it too. It is a stand alone, but there are other stories that are connected and are just as awesome! I rarely second read a book and I actually read this one twice, back to back so that I could savor the words. I want my own Rory!

Rory and Sadie are great characters and seeing them get their HEA was awesome. Definitely put this one on the must read list. I highly recommend it.

This is book #2 in the Love on Chance Avenue series. It is the story of Rory Douglas and Sadie Mann. Rory is a bull rider on the American Bull Riding Tour. He loves riding bulls and being able to unleash his demons while competing. Sadie spent 10 years as an airline flight attendant. She has turned in her wings and wants to focus on having a baby. She has a re-furbishing company which she has started on her own to make ends meet. Rory rarely comes back to his home town. Marietta is not where he expected to be, but he had a bad season, and he has to plan for a different type of future. He comes back for an auction on a property he wants to use for an investment. Sadie has been having a hard time adjusting to her her mom's death and running a business on her own. She has had an unrequited crush on Rory since she was 13 years old. She knows Rory avoids Marietta, especially at Christmas, and she wonders why he is back now. Will a chance between Rory and Sadie happen? Will it be the miracle they have both been looking for? I love Rory and Sadie's story. It is well written, and very descriptive. I can picture every scene that is written and imagine myself there. So glad the happily ever after is written into the epilogue.

Miracle on Chance Avenue by Jane Porter #MiracleOnChanceAvenue #NetGalley Book starts out with Rory Douglas and he's on the bull when he sees her as they open the gates. He recalls seeing her at every rodeo stop along the circuit but she's never approached him. He knows she's there for him. Sadie has followed her impossible dreams and she has followed him throughout the rides and even went in to see him at the hospital when he told her to get out. She just wants his baby but she can never tell him. Then her mom died and that crushed her. She had worked at Big Sky but now works in town at her own business and she's saving for a family. She works at the real estate agency also and is waiting for a man to come to the house as he's rented it.... What I liked about this story was the theme-how do you tell someone that you've had a crush on that you want his baby. She's so determined and he remembers her at every stop. He feels she is his angel-looking out for him. He'd never settle down but he'd marry her in a heartbeat. He'd done the renovation work himself in the house and had rented it out over the years. She has no clue. She refinishes furniture that others throw out everything learned from her mother. Love hearing of one using their own hands to make a living and how they do it. Loved hearing of the tree where you select a gift to get for a child and it strikes him as he's a caring man and the scholarships he set up for others in town over the years. The bad memories are leaving and good ones are taking their place. Lots of heartache and fun and laughs also. When I started reading this series the Indian Paintbrush flower are the seeds I bought online to grow myself because the struck something in me and I knew my garden needed them also. Liked the praying for a chance, that's all he needed. Loved hearing of the activities they do during the season and finding the perfect ornaments depicting the season. I received this review book from Net Galley and this is my honest review.

An awesome Christmas story on all about taking chances. Sadie has one thing that she wants accomplished for the next year and that is to become a mom. She has always had a secret crush on Rory, an ex bull rider. In fact she use to follow him on the circuit. Rory has returned to Marietta to check on some property he owns, he does not like Marietta due to painful childhood memories. He soon recognizes Sadie from the girl that will follow him. Sadie tells him her story. He now decides he wants to marry Sadie. Now only to convince Sadie of his plans. Great characters that I loved. I so enjoyed how Rory came over his painful memories. The magic of Marietta at Christmas is just perfect. I wish it was a real town. I highly recommend this book.

What an engaging read, Rory Douglas has returned to Marietta and revisited the Family ranch where that tragic night he had lost most of his family. And there’s Sadie Mann, his sisters friend and she has adored him since that tragic night which was her thirteenth birthday, and she has spun a dream of him, that she lives and breathes every night and day of her life. I loved their story and both of their characters and all Sadie’s angst and the overwhelming steps Rory takes to try to get past his grief. And of course all the heart warming Christmas stuff that’s taking place. And without giving anything away I loved the ending that didn’t leave me hanging.

WOW!!! Just wow!! Words fail to describe how much I truly enjoyed Miracle on Chance Avenue by Jane Porter, the second book in her Love on Chance Avenue series. Rory Douglas did not like returning home to Marietta because of all the awful memories it stirred up from his past. He releases his demons while competing on the American Extreme Bull Riding Tour. After a bad fall he visits Marietta to buy an investment property and encounters a future he never imagined he would want or have. Sadie Mann gave up her career as a flight attendant to put her energy into her shabby chic business and her desire to become a single mom as her biological clock ticks. She has crushed on Rory since her thirteenth birthday, the night a murderer slaughtered most of the Douglas family. Sadie never expected him to notice her when she attended AEBR events around the country, but encountering Rory in Marietta throws Sadie for a loop, especially as he recognizes her. If anyone deserves to find love, it is these two. It might take a miracle for them to get their happy ever after. I really loved reading this book and didn’t want to put this book down, reading it in one day. Ms. Porter is a wonderful story teller and she always draws me into her books, making me forget the world around me. I highly recommend this book to other readers. I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy of this book.

Miracle on Chance Avenue by Jane Porter, book two in the Love on Chance Avenue series. I've read other books by this author and this one hasn't disappointed me. A sweet heart-warming story with great characters and dialogue. The main characters Rory and Sadie each had issues from their past but they were still able to come together. I'm look forward to reading more in this series and more books by Jane Porter.

The tragedy at the Douglas Ranch devastated Rory and his surviving siblings. It also left Sadie Mann, a friend of McKenna, feeling guilty. After all her birthday sleep over was why they weren't home when the murderer struck. Now Rory is back in Marietta, he wants to come to terms with the past. Can he and Sadie have a future? She is determined to live her life to the fullest even if she can't have Rory. She wants to have a baby. I admire her for her courage to be a single mother. Rory calls her his angel, but he's never been able to face the past. I didn't want the tragedy to destroy him. His attraction to Sadie is powerful and touching. I was hopeful that they would get their HEA. I love Marietta and her people. It's always good to visit. This story is an emotional journey. Jane Porter has written characters struggling with their past. I cared for them and wanted them to get their miracle.

Full of memories he’d rather forget, Rory Douglas prefers keeping his distance from his hometown of Marietta. Traveling from city to city on the American Extreme Bull Riding Tour, Rory would dispel his demons atop a bucking bull. When a bad fall puts a halt to his riding days, he finds himself back in his hometown of Marietta. Sadie Mann has crushed on Rory for much of her life. Going as far as traveling around the country to secretly watch him compete on the rodeo scene. Her heart’s desire is to be a mom, and having Rory as the father would be a dream come true. But as she’s realizing the reality of that happening being slim, she starts considering a donor. Back in Montana to look at a potential investment property, Rory spots Sadie and recognition of the “angel” in the stands at several of his competitions floods his mind. Unaware that he had seen her at the events, Sadie is taken aback. But is this the opportunity she’s been hoping for? Now that they’re in the same town, will her dreams of being with Rory and the baby she desires with him become reality? Such a well-written, heartwarming story about two people whose past had them bent, but couldn’t quite break them.

Storytelling at its finest. Sadie Mann wants to have a baby. And for years, she wanted that baby's father to be her lifelong crush, bull rider, Rory Douglas. She would even travel around the country to different events just to see him. But she never had the courage to talk to him. When Rory finally returned to Marietta, Sadie had already moved on from him and was planning on using a donor for her baby. Rory first spotted Sadie in the stands two and a half years ago. He didn't know anything about her, but liked to think of her as his angel. There for the rodeo and then she disappears. The night Rory got in a bull named Hammerfall in Clovis, California, his angel couldn't save him. His luck ran out and he suffered a severe injury. He was lucky to be alive. Rory is now investing in properties and returned to his home town of Marietta Montana to check out an apartment building. When Rory discovers his mysterious angel was living right there in Marietta, the town he grew up in, he knew he had to know her. Sadie confides in Rory about wanting to have a baby and how she planned to go about it. But Rory has an idea all his own. He wants a family with Sadie. They decide on four dates to see if they are compatible. With a little luck, they both just might get what they desire. I loved this book. Both characters had such a sadness in their past that it seemed they were perfect to help each other. With new goals in their lives, and Sadie not wanting to budge at first, it was fun to see them come together in the end.
