Miss Hickory is an old country doll made from an apple-wood twig with a hickory nut as a head. She wears a blue-and-white gingham dress and her eyes are inked on. She lives in a corncob house until it is taken over by lazy Chipmunk. Now, Miss Hickory has no choice but to move.
