About the Author

Athos Macris is a Cold War Era-qualified submarine officer who writes from experience.  He lives in Connecticut with his family and enjoys classic cars and cooking.

Tim Mazza is a Cold War Era-qualified submariner.  He served as a yeoman, mess cook, battle stations helmsman and topside watch, making him unusually well suited to convey the real life existence of enlisted crewmembers aboard a fast attack nuclear submarine. He lives in New Jersey with his family.
