About the Author

Adi Michelle Rutler was born in June 1984. She had a rough few years of her life and was rescued and adopted by an amazing family who taught her what true compassion and morals were. She was raised as a devoted Catholic. Feeling unworthy of the love she received she left home at 17 and left her faith as well. She looked for the Lord in many places but couldn't seem to find him. In her young adult life she made many wrong choices and became without faith. Living in depression and darkness for years she had so many questions she nobody could answer. Through everything she found the love of her life, has 5 wonderful boys, became a chef, and has an amazing granddaughter. Through the years she would delve into writing both short stories and poetry but never felt anything was worth completing until she found her way back to God through the Catholic Church. Feeling a new drive she poured her heart into this story trying to embrace her faith while still touching on the true struggles behind accepting God into a person's life. Her hope with this story is to help others find the path to Christ while helping them understand our sins may have helped shape humanity as much as righteousness but that doesn't make humans are forsaken unless they choose to be.
