About the Author

K. Heavens was born in Manchester, England. She spent her formative years in Lagos Nigeria. She is a Registered Nurse with a passion for writing. From an early age, she enjoyed writing and telling stories. Her passion for story telling was further nurtured by her grandmother who would spend hours in the evenings telling folk stories to K. Heavens and her siblings with songs and choruses. Her father worried that a career path in writing may not be a sustainable source of livelihood.  This never prevented K. Heavens from writing. Her father would proof-read her work and give her positive feedback.  Whenever something came to mind, she would be sure to scribble it down.
