The Cornhusker State or Murder Alley? However you think of Nebraska you'll be riveted to Dr. Katherine Ramsland's smart and stunning review of some of Nebraska's most notorious criminal cases. One of the most infamous is the story of Charlie Starkweather and his murder-spree with teenager, Caril Fugate, by his side. Participant? Captive? Lover? That case, of course, has been the subject of many books, films and TV shows. It's as shocking today as it was in the 1950s. And yet there's more to Nebraska that earns its wide expanses of the Great Plains a chilling stopping spot on a trip through Notorious USA. Let Dr. Ramsland lead you down Murder Alley as she covers Starkweather, The Nebraska Fiend, The Humboldt Triple murder case, and many, many more.
