Naughton Pharmaceuticals is a busy, sometimes chaotic place as scores of test subjects undergo clinical trials. Two more managers are knocked off and Kelly becomes a suspect. This threatens his dream of becoming a police officer right when he's about to take the preliminary exams. Meanwhile, his boss makes him an offer almost too good to refuse, perhaps hoping Kelly will overlook shady dealings. It's tempting, but does Kelly really want to abandon his law enforcement ambitions? Ultimately, he discovers the surprising murderer, and more importantly, a much greater danger.

A 165 page very well-written free murder mystery from the perspective of a young man working for a pharmaceutical company in Fargo, ND. A who done it with a romance and a look at the inner workings of a drug company. Also, a wide range of characters aptly described. Language is adult but mild.
Story line and plot were good. Characters interesting and for the most part believeable. The only thing that did not appeal was the fact that there were numerous times during the first half of the book that it moved quite slowly.
