As with many authors of the pulp era, Howard Finney is only remembered as a name and not as a person. There is no record of his birth, his death, nor of his other writing achievements, if there were any, outside of three short stories. The only source to mention Finney suggests that he may have been a pseudonym, but, since no one has owned up to being him at this late date, there is a good chance that we may never know who he was.
