Musing Of A Nursing Home Resident

I moved into a nursing home after my sister, Martha had died. I was living alone. I have FSH muscular dystrophy that isn't fatal. The disability itself requires a live in a care giver, whom I could not afford. The other residents enjoy reading my poems so I decided to write more and make them into a book. I believe there is a "book" in each of us. We all have life stories to tell, but residents of nursing homes seem to be forgotten numbers in our society. We all need love, company and laugh...
