My Sister Marilyn, is a memoir of Marilyn Monroe, that talks about her life behind the lights and camera. In the memoir, I liked how the author Berniece Baker Miracle, talked about how Marilyn’s life as child had an impact in the near future. It shows Marilyn’s beautiful personality, and they way she cares for others. I would recommend this book, because you get to see the life of Marilyn before she was famous and when she was famous. I give this memoir five stars because it a really good book, and you learn new stuff.

Really nice photos I had never seen of the young Marilyn. The text wanders a bit and could have been better with some good editing. Marilyn fans will forgive the flaws and add this to their collection. The vulnerable Norma Jeane shines through looking for approval and validation...a legend in the making!

This is, without question, the best book I have read on Ms. Monroe. It is touching, straight forward, and to the point. Marilyn was a person with a tender heart, caught up in the world of money and show buisness. There are very few thrills and chills here. It is the emotional, honest recollection that a family has about this remarkable woman. You will fall in love with her.

This book really was something else! It was such a good book that I read it twice--It was really great to read a book about Marilyn without all those bells and whistles. Marilyn's half-sister, Bernice, and Marilyn's niece, Mona Rae, really touched a spot that so few others who have claimed to 'know' Marilyn have.
