Neither Left nor Right
What’s in this book for you?

Is this book for Liberals, conservatives, libertarians, or independents? The answer is that this is a guide book that anyone can use. I have outlined the most commonly used manipulative methods by the parties. Some of you will think that I lean toward one group or another. I will decide that when one of the groups upsets me more than the other.
For now, voters should learn the techniques that are used by candidates to try to influence them. There are some voters who do not even care to understand how they are being manipulated. You can tell who they are because the parrot everything their party tells them to say. Both sides are guilty. One side may be more proficient at controlling their constituents than the other. After reading and understanding the information I have presented, you will be able to see when you are being manipulated.
It is important to understand how a party can alienate its followers. If you realize that this is a nation with a direction and that direction can’t be radically altered without significant damage, you will see be better able to comprehend what the parties are doing to capture your vote.
In my humble estimation, the most important sections in this book relate to consequences. You will see that consequences can be accidental or purposefully calculated. The most vocal in government supported this countries involvement in Egypt and Libya. Either they did not consider the consequences or they ignored the negative possibilities. One might ask why the government has not become involved in all of the civil wars that are raging even today. It is reasonable to ask yet there is no one who will be able to answer it. Yes some may say we are only interested in oil producing countries and others may say we are interested in building political regimes that are compatible with the United States. Both may be correct and neither may be correct. If you use the evaluative tools that you will see in the section on consequences, you will begin to realize that there is much more to consider.
Another section that is a must is the section on “fishing.” No this is not a sports book but the techniques that the Democrats are using to hook Republicans into making mistakes is better fishing than you will ever see on a sports show. It is truly a skill to be admired.
Now that the field has narrowed to two primary candidates, you will see that the information in this book will come alive on a daily basis. It may seem silly for me to tell you that you will enjoy this campaign season more if you understand the principles that I have laid out. It is not silly, it is true. Understanding these tools will also make the process less stressful for you the voter.
Have fun and try not to let yourself become a victim of politics. Politics is a perverse form of entertainment.

About the Authors
Our names are Gerald Castor and D. O’Brien. Several months ago we were at a political rally and heard a lot about the Political Bull. People just called him the Political Bull because of his wealth of knowledge concerning political campaigning. A talking bull that understands politics, this we have to see and hear. We have heard a lot of Political Talk over the years but this sounded intriguing.
There we found him next to the bar; The Circle Bar in the corner. He was just standing by the bar watching people ride the mechanical bull and laughing. We introduced ourselves and exchanged information. The three of us spoke casually about or past and our families. His stories were fascinating. He was excited to learn that each of us had a Master’s Degree, published books and developed website on a variety of topics. Now he was the one intrigued and asked us if we would help him develop his stories and experiences into a book or blog or something. He wasn’t exactly sure what direction to take.
He began telling us some amazing stories.
He had been a rodeo bull, a bucking bull that travelled all around the country. He told us that he had been a very successful and highly ranked rodeo bull. For the five years he was part of the rodeo circuit, he had been owned by a group of political campaign advisors. Well, his owners spent a lot of time talking about all the techniques that they used to influence people and make them angry as bulls. He thought at first they were Democrats but found out that some of the group were Republicans.
Apparently, these political campaigners felt that anger was a politically motivating emotion. Now that our new friend had retired from bucking off Cowboys, he has his sight on bucking off everyone.
“Be prepared for a rough ride” he said; “expect all your preconceived notions to be tossed here and there and things can change in an instant”. He wanted people to understand the campaign techniques used in politics today. He wanted people to understand more about the political process and in particular about the tools politicians used to shape presentations. He felt that people were just too emotional about the candidates and the policies. Too many friendships were being negatively influenced by the political process.
Our new friend was an entertainer and liked the crowds of people being excited and happy not angry and miserable
