Neonatology: A Clinical Approach

Neonatology is a field of pediatrics that is related with the medical care of newborn infants. The newborn infants who are severely ill or premature need such special medical care. Other complications which require specialized care include prematurity, low birth weight, intrauterine growth restriction, congenital malformations, sepsis, pulmonary hypoplasia and birth asphyxia.
